> 24 hourTook these on a scouting trip and they were dropped and landed onto rocky soil for 4 days. They are barely damaged and I am extremely happy with these axes!

> 24 hourI am a Cold Steel fan, and really admire their quality. I also like the American Hickory handles. BUT, this tactical tomahawk is well built too !!! It throws well, and can be very, very sharp. I do have some training with different weapons, and this little baby is no slouch in that department. Its real use comes from the fact that it is almost designed to run along the Molle webbing of my Maxpedition Sitka. It comfortably sits there and wont go anywhere despite a rigorous hike. One small velcro tie, and this wont slip out accidentally - no way and no how. But the velcro strip is easily removed, and this Tomahawk deploys nicely. On dried wood, from the middle of the summer, this will service nicely. It is smaller and will require a bit more effort to get rid of a downed tree, but from a survival perspective - just perfect. I have not pressure tested the handle, but suspect it can withstand a brutish amount of force. It wont come a part on you. I bought mine on a bit of sale, and it was well worth the price. Put this on your wish list, and strike when that iron is hot !!!

> 24 hourLoved it as soon as I got it out of the package. It is well built, sturdy, and has a surprising wight to it while still being very small. Perfect for carrying around while walking through the wilderness, or around town for protection (make sure it is legal in your home state first) As I said earlier, this little hawk packs a punch, and was still smaller than I imagined. Very portable! Not at all bulk or uncomfortable when walking around with it on your belt. The sheath it comes with fits very tight on my belt. Depending on what you are doing, however, the buttons underneath can pop open and the hawk falls right out. This only happened when I was doing something more impractical though, like climbing a tree or jumping a wall. I think in most cases it will stay closed, but even if it doesnt, this little guy can be easily hung from your belt. A must buy for anyone who is looking for a smaller, faster tomahawk than you normally find.

> 24 hourI gave this gift to my brother as a Christmas gift. He was totally excited about it when he opened it...it looks like a top-quality piece of equipment! The only down-side that ruined Christmas: When he opened it, his girlfriend was sitting next to him on the couch. Within seconds, she wanted to hold it. He went to pass it to her, but it slipped out of her hand and fell 6 inches onto her leg. It didnt seem like it fell far enough to have any momentum, but the thing is so sharp that it cut through her jeans and left a bleeding, inch long gash in her leg! We wanted her to go to the ER for stitches, but she decided she would take the scar instead of going to the ER on Christmas day. And yes, she now has a scar.

> 24 hourGood as a tool or a collectable. Not particularly heavy but solid enough to be a wood axe for brush and small branches, fits the specs for tactical hatchets, and Im not a throwing axe expert but it feels better weighted then ones Ive seen before.

> 24 hourI bought this ax on a whim so I could have something to chop wood with when I go camping. After testing it out, Ill definitely be using it for a lot more than that. The tomahawk itself is very lightweight and balanced. It feels good in your hand. The blade is very tough, and Ive seen no wear whatsoever in my testing. Its got a very sturdy handle (not metal) which makes it light enough for throwing. Some people have complained about the handle being slippery or hard to hold, but even when its wet I can easily swing it around and keep a good grip on it. My only complaint is that the included sheath is a bit awkward/unwieldy (it takes a bit of work to get it out). If youre looking for a lightweight, durable multipurpose tomahawk for under 50$, this is for you.

> 24 hourI bought the F06-N as a companion to the larger F01. In regular use, this is an emergency tool in the vehicle. Its small enough to fit in the gap between driver seat and center console, but has enough heft to take out a window if that was the only route of egress available. While this is an application that I hope this tool will never be used in, it has seen A LOT of use during recent camping trips. It is the perfect size for our 8-year old son who uses it to chop firewood and tinder. The blade retains the edge well and the spike helps quite a bit when splitting large branches. For the price an overall useful tool. The only part that could be better is the sheath. It is set up so that the blade can -and will- cut through the threads that hold the two halves together. Some Kydex work seems to be in order here shortly.

> 24 hourThis beautiful, fun and exciting weapon of mass distraction.... I use this beast and the 2 others I bought as throwing tomahaks....As I live in a semi - upscale neighborhood my neighbors seem think I may be unstable due to my activity of choice, they all sit on their balconies and watch me drill these bad boys into my backboard with a thunderous ca-thunk (much like it was thrown by the hand of Thor himself). The only inadequacy I found in my order of this fine product was that I failed to order 3 more. 10/10, I recommend. Id give them 7 out of 5 stars if I was allowed to by this infernal Amazonian machine. In all seriousness, keep up the good work SOG, as always a tremendous product, you sick beautiful prodigal men of savagery.

> 24 hourI first bought this hawk from another source primarily as a throwing hawk and as a light survival hawk for my wifes kit. It excels as a throwing hawk and is almost indestructible Very light and easy to use and exceeds in capability for what you would expect from a tool this size. Best buy on the market for a throwing/survival hawk. I was so impressed I bought another as a gift to a friend two days after my first one arrived. Im a retired firefighter with 28 years of service and 18 years of service as a LEO in various capacities. I highly recommend this hawk as an addition to any firefighters utility belt, manys the time I could have used it and having this tool in a squad car could save many lives on emergency scenes where minor extrication is needed fast and the police arrive first, and they almost always do..
