While admittedly not an audiophile by any means, they quality of the sound is really good! I upgraded from a pair of JBL’s to these. They are very comfy on my ears, I have a lot of ear piercings and the headphones do not irritate them. I know it’s risky because they are not rated for being sweat proof but I wear these to the gym everyday with no issue. The only thing I wish was that the noise canceling was better. Maybe it’s the way I wear them and it can be corrected but for the money I was hoping to hear nothing at all. I have the airpods pro and when I wear those there’s absolutely nothing it’s almost uncomfortable. I just wish for the price I could adjust the level of noise canceling if that makes sense.

I’ve had it for a few months now and it’s one of my most prized possessions. I bought a pair of Bose headphones before this one. I prefer the noise cancellation that Bose has, but I wanted them specifically for listening to music and Sony is where it’s at in that aspect. I love music and it’s a big part of my life. These headphones are perfect!

I replaced a pair of Plantronics Backbeats. I use these every day at the gym, and despite the lack of a water resistance rating they have been fine. The sound detail, bass, and volume are excellent. The only thing I dont love is the recyclable headphone case - its flimsy, and the pocket for the cables pops open too easily.

Been really enjoying the headphones: the bluetooth multipoint support is really nice and the build and sound quality is decent. Unfortunately I got these headphones for active noise cancellation and for inexplicable reasons sony has decided that they are smarter than the consumer and took away the ability to set the anc strength that the xm4s had. This should be an option and until it affects headphone sales sony has in incentive to reverse this decision.

I have had these for a month and they cannot play a full song without shutting off. I have disabled the auto off function and still, at times they can play for a matter of seconds before shutting off. This is my second bad experience with Sony. I will never recommend these or any other Sony device to anyone. For $400 they should be able to play uninterrupted for hours. What a waste.

I came from using Airpods pros to these and the difference in noise cancellation is night and day. Especially when music is playing you cannot hear a thing in the background. The transparency mode is decent, but my voice sounds a bit weird when I talk while its on. Otherwise these are super light and very comfortable at the gym as well, highly recommend

Noise cancellation is top tier no doubt about it when Im commuting in the city or on a train. Be very careful though as I believe they cancel too much and you might potentially be in trouble if youre not aware of your surroundings. Sound is absolutely amazing especially with the EQ. One thing that worries me are the ear cups, they shouldve added more cushion towards them and made them just a bit more spacious as overtime it tends to hurt my ears when I have them on for longer than an hour. Great product would recommend if you can afford it

When I first got these I looooved them, sound quality is amazing on these and I love the touch controls as well as the noise cancellation. The reason I’m giving this product 3 stars is because every time I went to switch a device the headphones would make this super super loud buzzing sound and they would do this for about 10 seconds and then just shut off. I don’t know if this was just the case for me but it happened enough times to make me feel the need to return them. Get the wh1000 xm4s! I got those after returning these and they are amazing if not better than the m5s.

Keeping this short and sweet, very good headphones. Noise cancellation is so good that it wow(s) you when turned off! Battery life is top tier which you should expect at this price, looks good & sleek. Volume control isn’t bad but the constant swiping up and down isn’t as effective as i’d like it to be but still gets the job done! Overall still a highly recommended headphone, you’ll enjoy it!

I ordered these and they came late. I ordered the SILVER colored ones but the black one was what was shipped. I was mad but then I put them on and loved them. They sound really good
