> 3 dayI was on the fence about these. Fairly expensive and some reviewers had some pretty negative things to say about them, specifically the comfort and noise canceling. I recommend you go to a trusted audio review site now and read those instead of these Amazon reviews. Your experience is much more likely to mirror those than the negative reviews. Amazing noise cancellation, great sound quality, and comfortable enough to wear for hours at a time. These have become my daily use headphones and I havent given it a second thought. Worth every penny I spent. Ill leave it at that.

> 3 dayI came from using Airpods pros to these and the difference in noise cancellation is night and day. Especially when music is playing you cannot hear a thing in the background. The transparency mode is decent, but my voice sounds a bit weird when I talk while its on. Otherwise these are super light and very comfortable at the gym as well, highly recommend

> 3 dayI really like the headphones but the band is a bit big (trust me my heads not small) so anytime I’m doing a work out on my back or stomach down they fall off and it get annoying. In addition to this any work outs that your arms go above your head will trigger the touch feature and skip your tracks

> 3 dayI would assume that a lot of people would like these headphones but I do like some bass and the mx4s do much better in that aspect. In terms of professional use, these come closer to the Airpods Max able to deliver excellent noise cancelling with passable transparency mode. Since I do have the Airpods max however, I didnt need another pair of headphones for professional use.

> 3 dayI bought these specifically for work to drown out all of the side conversations in my office. I have zero complaints and this was probably my best purchase of 2022. The noise canceling is great and the sound quality is clean. I like that these have adaptive features based on what Im doing or my surroundings, and I can talk to others without taking them off if. I read about seeing fingerprints on these in black so opted for the silver. But I gravitated towards the silver anyways because I tend to prefer neutral muted tones.

> 3 dayI bought these headphones because they are the most recommended bluetooth set on the internet. I guess I just disagree with everyone on the internet because these did not impress me at all. $400 is by far the most money ive ever spent on headphones and these are not even in the top 5 of best headphones ive owned. I have a $50 gaming headset (hyperXcloud) that sound better than these. My airpod pros (2nd gen) also deliver better sound quality. My Between Pros also sound better. Earbuds should not be outperforming the supposedly best headphones on the market. Pros: They are very comfortable and the ANC is among the best on the market. The connectivity and app are flawless. Phone calls are also crisp and clear both ways. Ive had 0 problems with any glitchy stuff happening. Cons: The sound, while clear, is flat and quiet. It honestly sounds like the sound coming out of your phone, just in a headphone enviroment. If you like bass then dont buy these. Im not even a huge bass guy but I like to hear bass where there is supposed to be bass. It sounds like the bass is somewhere far off in a distance. I youtubed all the EQ settings on these and got them to sound fractionally better but nowhere near where a $400 headset should. I know sound is subjective and this is merely my opinion. But after a quick google search of sony XM5s sound terrible there were plenty of others that agree. If these are in fact the best the bluetooth headset market has to offer, then im extremely unimpressed. 3 stars because the connectivity, comfort and ANC is truly top tier. However, the #1 thing a premium headset should do is sound premium. These do not. I will be returning these and looking elsewhere for a headset.

> 3 dayFirst off, Ill say that the audio quality is amazing and the noise canceling is the best Ive ever seen. With that said, theres a known bug regarding phone calls. When you talk to someone else using this headset, the other party will hear feedback when the volume is higher than about 2/3 of your max. If you have the volume lower, the other party cant hear feedback. This doesnt seem to be the case of your using this for a Teams or Zoom call though. For me, I bought this specifically for phone calls. Dont buy this unit if a good percentage of its use will be phone calls.

> 3 dayThe sound quality is considerably better than previous WH-1000XM4, no joke. I purchased XM5 without much expectations but it turns out the sound quality is far, I mean far, better than XM4. For some reasons, it wasnt noticeable difference when its paired with my PC but when its paired with my Galaxy S23+, it produces unbelievably crisp sound with rich low to high fq enhancement, especially when the sound source is high fidelity and high bit rate. Maybe its some sort of codec issue, I dont know but I am unexpectedly surprised. The fit is also more comfortable if you have wide skull or large ears. I havent weighted this one but it feels lighter than XM4. I have Jabra, Arctis Pro and many other top tier headsets but so far this is the best sound headsets by far.
