> 3 dayI was confused between the purchase decision of Bose and Sony headphones as I wanted to upgrade from Bose QC 35 2. It came with hefty price tag of near 400. But I would say thus is worth it. I am now more confident to take my office calls on bluetooth device. I love listening to music on it. The noise cancellation is top notch. I love its speak to chat feature. I do not have to remove it to talk to others. Its almost on my head for 8 hours a day and i forget that its there. Very comfortable. I will recommend this headphone to people who can afford its price tag.

14-06-2025For so long, I yearned for a true headphones to give me the true connection to my soul when listening to my music. I have swap, switch, swing, and had a lot of one night stands with many. But nothing has made me fall in love at first sound until now. I am a firm believer there is a true sound at first ear for everyone and this is the one. I don’t know if I can yearn for anything else beyond this majestic piece of love juice. My ears melt at first touch of the soft silky pads. The girth of the the band brings amazing feeling around my head caressing me and reminding me it loves me unconditionally. As the sound pours through my ears with it soft whispers and vigor bass, I am at awe and excitement at every song, music, and instrumental I have heard before, but now it is uncharted territory for my ear pleasure. The vibration is so subtle and invigorating making me spew of oohs and ahhs. I kid you not, get these headphones and you will melt into the dimension of this love making machine. Thank you Sony ❤️

> 3 dayThe noise cancellation is insane to me. I brought them on a road trip where noise and screaming is prominent and by my surprise canceled it like crazy. And the sound is even better. Just in all a great pair of headphones. 10/10 would recommend buying them.

> 3 dayLikes = design, comfort, sound quality and the versatile app Dislikes = tried using it for a work from home gig that i have which is 90% making calls and talking to people. However, connection quality is bad. Customers frequently say that my voice connection goes in and out. This doesn’t occur with calls on my cellphone but definitely occurs in calls I make through my work laptop. Its a bit disappointing seeing that I bought these earphones because they boast superior voice call quality using several microphones and background noise cancelling compared to other earphones…

> 3 dayI really like these headphones! The issue is they were put together wrong: the left and right ear pieces are switched. Sad…

> 3 dayFirst I had the XM2,3,4 so I loved this type of Sony headphones but this is probably last one. Right from the start, it feel cheap. They cut back on material to save cost it seemed. They cut back on feature such as NFC. And you cant fold it anymore with this new design. Initially, you cant turn off adaptive sound control which means the headohone will automatically change noise cancelling to ambient sound base on your action. Look, I only wear this indoor so I always just need Noise Cancelling! Their stupid new tech will always get it wrong and when it changes, it took about 2 seconds. Its very annoying! Edit: Okay, they did update the adaptive sound control so we can in fact leave it to just noise cancelling 100% of the time. But it shouldnt need an update just to do this. Now, finally the nail to coffin is this thing sometimes couldnt stop beeping! With their touchpad control, when you tap left or right of the headphone, you are suppose to hearing a tiny beep as feedback so that youd know you tap it 3 times for example. But on mine, when absolutely nothing is touching those touchpad, it kept on beeping sometimes. In worst case scenario, it beeps hundreds of times per minute forcing me to turn it off and turn it back on to solve it temporarily..... Now, please understand, I went through internets trying to resolved this. People have had this problem on Sonys forum and many others discussion site such as StackExchange and reddit. NO, I cant do anything in option to stop it. My touchpad control option was already OFF. It was always off because Ive never need to use it. The Quick Access settings are always NONE because once again, I never need to change it from Noise Cancelling. Please believe me, Ive search through forums, tried every possible options in the app, NONE of them work.... The only conclusion at the end of every discussion is Sony must update it so that it could be an option from the app. But as of June of 2023, there was no option to turn the beeps off! This of course is deal breaker for me which is a shame because I always preferred Sony NC and sound quality and the XM5 sound quality is great when it wasnt interrupted by uncontrollable beeping. I believe Ill try Bose next year.

> 3 dayIm coming from the Sony H900N so keep that in mind. Immediately noticeable: 1) How lightweight they are compared to my last pair. Night/day difference. These headphones are an upgraded and new form of my old headphones. The actual headphones poke out a little more but weigh much less than my old pair. 2) Design - flawless. I use these for studying, workflow, and eventually working out although I have not done that yet. Very nice to look at, and comfortable to wear. 3) Function - It has all the functions I loved with my old headphones with more sensitive and touch-friendly material on the headphones which acts as a remote (forward, backward volume up /down/ pause/play, etc. ) 4) I have seen a lot of people complain about it not folding down but I have zero complaints. Its not a big deal. In fact, even though my old headphones folded down they were exposed in my bag. If I put my old headphones in its case I feel they were much bulkier than this carrying case. The new case is of quality, light material and has a loop to carry it with. I just stick the whole thing in my bag and feel better about it having the extra protection. 5) Im very happy with my buy. I only upgraded because my old sony left headphones started to give out after 4-5 years of heavy lifting and use. That itself speaks to the quality of SONY.

> 3 dayIf youre going to be wearing these headphones for many hours, then this is a bad choice. After 1 hour of work, the head and ears begin to hurt.

09-06-2025I really wanted to like this product especially because it’s so cute. I have been on a hunt, trying a ton of new headphones like these. However, it slips a lot if you wear it for more than like 30 minutes it’ll start to hurt the top of your head even if you extend the wrap. I think the beats headphones have much better noise canceling. Quality wise, it’s nothing extraordinary, i think it’s pretty average especially for the price. I have experienced the same with headphones that were $20-$30. I would save up, do some more research, and not get these.
