Everyone love this - I keep getting requests for rematches. Takes a couple of games to learn how to strategize, but very much fun for adults. 10 & 12 year old grands do not have the patience for it. So Id say at least 15+. But is nice to have a game that is not adult in content and one that can be played over & over. Id recommend this.

My husband and I love this game. We usually play just the two of us in about 15-20 minutes I win. Strategy based and so fun!

We play this several weekends a month!! LOVE it. Can easily be played with 2 people. Not a horribly long game but not a 10 min game either.

We are always on the lookout for a multi player game that can be played with only two people and still be entertaining, and this fits the bill perfectly. It is easy to learn but keeps your interest game after game. The cards are thin but the coins are sturdy. Colors are richly printed. Would recommend!

What can I say, my board-game hating sister LOVES this game and begs to play it when we visit. My nephew LOVES THIS GAME, he is NOT a gamer. My grandmother foams at the mouth at the mention of Splendor at family reunions and holidays, shes rabid for it. To give the game a bit more oomph and pizzazz, we bought some stones/jewels from a Saturday market, some old fools gold nuggets, and some velvet colored bags my mom sewed to hold it all. It really impresses when compared to the junky tokens included in the standard game.

Great game to play for 2-4 people. Easy to learn. Fun to play.

I bought this as a gift because of good reviews. We play it over and over. It takes a little bit of thought for the gamer type person, but its not complex and a game can be completed in about 20 minutes or so, depending on the number of players (2-4).

I enjoy this game so much! My husband is okay with it. He will play it with me but I love it a lot more than him. I like that it is simple and fun and it doesnt get complicated. When we traveled, I put all of the pieces in a plastic index card case and it was small enough to pack. That way I didnt have to pack a huge box. But it worked out great and we were able to take it with us traveling.

Our friends played with us when we got it and they ordered the super hero version! We all love it!
