> 3 daySince I bought the Sensei RAW a couple of years ago, Ive been a big fan of the Steel Series. I followed that up with the Rival 110, which felt a bit cheaper in design and materials compared to the Sensei (e.g., no braided cord), but was still a solid mouse. The 310 is definitely a good middle ground between the Sensei and the 110. The construction feels a lot better, plus it has the rubber grips on the side to replace the hard plastic on the 110 variety. Its also larger, so it fits better with my larger hands. I dont really game at all, so the extra features on the Rival 5xx, 6xx, and 7xx didnt appeal to me much. So if anyone is looking for a non-flashy mouse with a clean look and super durability, then this should be on your list!

21-11-2024Okay so far the mouse has been excellent no problems what so ever with the mouse. Packaging is defiantly one of the best. - Good - The shape is overall pretty good. The LMB and RMB take a little more pressure than past mice Ive had but I like it. All other buttons are excellent. Plastic texture feels good but others think not. ( Its kinda sticky-ish / rough feeling ) Rubber side is overall good. - Bad - My ring finger and pinky feel weird because (opinion) the right side of the mouse come in too far and shour rather flair out not in. The texture and pattern of the rubber sides makes it slippery at times. - Other - Ive never seen this mentioned anywhere else but I feel like my mouse has a little bit of angle snapping on even though in the software its turned off. That may just be me imagining it but please let me know if you have anything on this.

22-11-2024The mouse is awesome and perfect for gaming, but what Im really happy with is SteelSeries amazing customer service. After about a month the mouse started having issues connecting my laptop. It was acting like a worn out charger cable and sometimes I would have to jiggle the mouse cord to get it to connect. So I contacted customer support and within an hour had a response. It was crazy what they had me do, I had to literally destroy the mouse and send them pictures of it broken apart (I guess they have problems with fraudulent warranty claims so thats why they do this). Once they got the pictures they gave me a code to order a new mouse directly from their site and I had a new mouse in 2 days. So yeah, very happy with my purchase and I will continue to buy products from SteelSeries because I know they stand behind their products and take care of their customers.

> 3 dayI really want to love this mouse, but I cant. It is pretty ergonomic and all the extra programmable buttons are solid, but the scroll wheel, oh the scroll wheel is atrocious. After I replaced it thinking it was defective the new mouse had the same annoyances. The tactility between each scroll is a bit too much, but the real problem is that it is unpredictable. Scrolling down isnt too bad but scrolling up is AWFUL. When you scroll up it doesnt always stop and rest before each notch, instead it gets stuck in between notches. Say you are scrolling real fast up the page, when you get to the top and let go of the scroll wheel it sometimes gets stuck in the middle and it is extremely unsatisfying and you always feel the need to scroll farther than you need to so it wont rest there. I find myself constantly resorting to other methods of scrolling. Middle click, page up, page down, and arrow keys. It wouldnt be nearly as bad if it happened when every time, but it is completely random when it happens. I dont recommend it if this would bother you.

> 3 dayLove the design and functionality of the mouse, but beware that you cannot save macros to the onboard memory. Suppose you want to make one of the buttons do a macro thats not predefined, then youll need to be running SteelSeries Engine for it to work. Logitech, on the other hand, has a fantastic utility for their gaming mice that allows you to configure and store to onboard memory (OnboardMemoryManager), and it works for all functions including macros and lighting.

> 3 day2nd time buying this mouse; after about a year, the grip fell off exposing the hard underneath which was super sticky with glue.. other than that, it was a really good mouse at a pretty good price, so I ordered another one. This one feels like it might come off sooner than a year and the grip is kinda more slippery than I remember on the previous one. But compared to other mice, this is still a solid mouse. Other mice often fail in some way after a year or two, like clicks not getting registered or occasional extra clicks... havent had that experience with this one, its just the grip coming off after a while, and in this case, the grip is just a little slicker than I wanted.

> 3 dayFor the first 2 and a half years, the mouse felt great to use. I appreciated the fact that it was ambidextrous meaning that it had extra buttons which I could use for macros and such. But unfortunately you might encounter a problem with the scroll wheel seeming jammed, but this did not happen until around the 3 year of use.

> 3 dayThis is the best mouse Ive found for large (XL to 2XL) hands. The reason for not receiving 5 stars is the cord comes highly folded in the box causing continuous knotting during use.

> 3 dayPosting this review after using the new mouse for about a week. Unfortunately, my old Steelseries Kana was breaking down. Time for an upgrade. I bought my first Kana in late 2013. It was the best gaming mouse I ever held. The ambidextrous feel, the same buttons on both the thumb and pinky side. Not overly cluttered like those awful 12 button MMO mice. The left clicker stopped responding in December of 15. Lasted almost 2 years. I bought another Kana since they were still being sold. That is the one that this Sensei 310 is replacing. I can no longer get the Kana, but the Sensei 310 fits the job just as good, if not better. This one also adds 2 another button on both the thumb and pinky sides. No complaints. Until further notice Ill definitely recommend Steelseries over Logitech, Corsair and most importantly Razer. All my friends that use Razer mice report failures within a year to a year and a half of regular use.
