> 3 dayI really like how this feels in my hand. Usually, computer mice are too small for me, and they get lost in my hand, but this one fits my hand size. Its good for gaming since it has the standard two side buttons, plus a dpi button on the top. The software that comes with it is pretty neat, too, though I havent fully explored it. My only problem is that sometimes the left click will click twice when I only clicked once. Other than that, I have liked everything about this mouse. Including the mouse wheel, which I have had bad luck with mouse wheels in the past.

> 3 daySlides very smoothly on my desk (I dont use a mouse pad) and it tracks perfectly. I like the customizable RGB colors. The only thing I dont care too much for is the textured rubber sides because after an hour or so of gaming my thumb, having been pressed into the side, gets slightly sore and ends up being kind of sweaty due to the silicone or rubber material. Grip is good still, and maybe its just something I need to get used to. I have not had to use the DPI button on top. The software for it is fine. Seems to have a small enough memory footprint and doesnt interfere with any other programs. Ive been using the mouse with BF2042, BF4, GTAV, Photoshop, and a myriad of other stuff. No complaints. The ergonomics are good. I use a fingertip grip and the rear hump on the mouse doesnt get in the way at all. My hands are medium-to-large in size. For the price, you cant really go wrong with this mouse. I recommend it.

> 3 dayThe SteelSeries Rival 310 is the best mouse I have ever used. That simple. It is precise, light, ergonomic and with all the bells and whistles that will make this pointing device your best acquisition for general use, office work and gaming. I have used plenty of pointing devices throughout the years and I must say I always stayed on the budget mouse market (below ~$30). I thought spending $50 on a mouse was ridiculous, but how wrong I was. This thing looks sleek and performs like clockwork. I spent a couple of days looking at the current mouse market and the options are endless. I initially planned on purchasing a $30-ish replacement for my now dying Logitech M305 (very portable and affordable IMO), but I wanted to get a larger mouse that could be used for long periods of time without busting your carpal tunnel. Well, the Rival 310 has the perfect size for me, it is light as a feather and has eSports level of accuracy, which might sound overkill for many non-professional gamers and non-gamers alike. But using this mouse JUST on the Windows desktop already feels you are dealing with something different. The movement is fluid and precise, the two main buttons always respond great (a little bit on the noisy side though), the scrolling wheel is super smooth and the side buttons are large enough to use them with no problem. I am including a picture comparing the size of the Rival 310 with two other mice that I have at home (left to right): Logitech M305 (old faithful), Logitech M705 and the Rival 310. Did I also mention it has 6 customizable buttons (left click, right click, scroll wheel, middle button, two on the left side) and RGB lights? The SteelSeries Engine 3.0 software provides enough options to tune the mouse to your needs to the point that it is a little bit overwhelming. But once you get all those details ironed out, you are left with a great mouse that looks cool, performs great and will keep any other pointing device in the drawer for years to come.

Greater than one weekStill works well with no hiccups. It has been very reliable as a mouse plus the application has been very easy to use and FAR LESSS annoying than any razer product with synapse that Ive used before.

> 3 dayLeft mouse button missing clicks since I got it, but gradually worsening. Rubber grips falling off. I paid about 50 bucks for it when I got it and I feel like I got ripped off. I cant imagine paying the 90 it is at now.

> 3 dayI had an older model Sensei mouse for around 3 years that worked really well. The only reason I ditched it was because the middle mouse button had a hard time registering when it was held down, and I couldnt work with that in certain games. So when I found out there was a much newer version, I immediately got this. Its even better with the rubber grips and the same comfortable form that I liked with the old one. The four, low profile buttons on the sides are very useful without being too much. Its hard to accidentally click the wrong one, as is the case with most other gaming mice with additional buttons. I always hated ergonomic mice, I found them uncomfortable, and the uniformity of both sides would make this a great mouse for someone who is left handed. Its highly sensitive, highly adjustable, and overall good quality. This thing works far better and is way more comfortable than any Razer mouse Ive seen, which tend to be twice as expensive.

03-06-2025Edit: The issue did eventually resolve itself and Ive had no problems since. I can only assume that the issue was dust in the USB port or something similar, rather than any problem with the mouse itself. Ive updated my rating to reflect this. I purchased this mouse in late January, direct from Amazon and it arrived quickly and in working order. I opted for a used item, described as Condition: Used - Very Good - Minor cosmetic imperfection on top, front or sides of item. Item will come in original packaging, which I took to mean a factory-new item with a minor, non-functional defect. Looking at the mouse, the only visible defect is a small burr on the right mouse button which is unnoticeable during use. The mouse seemed completely functional, was very responsive, comfortable, and easy to adjust the settings on. I had previously purchased a headset from Steelseries so setup was done through the same program. However, as of mid-May the left mouse button has begun to noticeably double click during use. As of writing Ive found that it double clicks about 30-40% of the time, often multiple times in succession, which is pretty abysmal for a gaming mouse which is advertised as having a 50 million click lifespan. Given that its only seen 4 months of not particularly heavy use, I can only imagine that the mouse was in some way defective beyond the minor cosmetic imperfection mentioned in the items description. I would return this item if I could.

Greater than one weekHad to deduct points for a faulty right click trigger pad. While play R6 Siege, the right click would not maintain and would cause me to stop ADSing. I returned the product less than a month in for a Rival 600. Beyond the production line fault, which happens sadly, the mouse felt great. I did not need the ambidextrous design and was immediately offput by it but adjusted very quickly. It did not feel bad. It was larger than my Logitech but did not weigh much more. I was still able to claw it though it seems to be designed for Palm grip users. The right side addition buttons took some adjustment and I was kind of shocked to see that they could not be disable in the software either but responded well when used. The material as mentioned was light, the grip was good, not sticky, and appeared to be designed to be easily wiped off. Great mouse especially if you need an ambidextrous product with high D/CPI or a quick response click.
