Greater than one weekFor the first 2 and a half years, the mouse felt great to use. I appreciated the fact that it was ambidextrous meaning that it had extra buttons which I could use for macros and such. But unfortunately you might encounter a problem with the scroll wheel seeming jammed, but this did not happen until around the 3 year of use.

> 3 dayI purchased the Sensei-310 to replace my previous mouse that started to die, and found that this was the closest in ergonomics and shape to my old mouse in my price range. I have found it to be pretty great with only one caveat, which Ill explain later. Upon receiving the package, I was very impressed with the unboxing experience, with an attractive, thick box and nice open-cell foam holding the mouse in place. I plugged the mouse in and the drivers were automatically installed, as well as the SteelSeries Engine 3 software. After tweaking in the software to bring the DPI settings to where I wanted them, I tested it out in a couple of games of CS:GO. The movements were incredibly smooth and precise, which I greatly appreciated. In its couple of weeks of use, I have been very impressed with the build quality and feel of the mouse. The only issues I found were that the matte-finish tends to attract and oils on the skin, but it isnt as bad as on some mice, and that the software has given me a few issues. Occasionally during a gaming session the mouse will revert from my RGB settings to the stock rainbow flash, which was a bit annoying. Otherwise, the software has given me no issues, and is very intuitive. Its mainly for this that I dont give the mouse a full five stars. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this mouse to anyone who likes a flatter mouse style, and wants to play any games competitively.

Greater than one weekOne of the best mice for the price. Very accurate cursor tracking, even on accelerated track speeds. The textured rubber on both the left side and right side keep the mouse where you want it in hand. The scroll wheel also has textured rubber which aids in accurate scrolling. Clicks on all buttons and scrollwheel are definitive and audible. This mouse has a very balanced feel to it without being overly heavy or light. Programmable lighting on the logo and scrollwheel with steelseries software if youre into that. I reccomend this mouse to anyone who doesnt want to spend an arm/leg for a mouse but still wants high end features.

> 3 dayWhen I got this mouse, I was questioning whether or not it was a good decision. However, all fears were allayed when I actually used the thing. On a SteelSeries mousepad, it is very smooth and accurate. The customization software was easy to work with and straightforward. The scroll wheel moves in firm increments, good for cycling through weapons. :) The dpi settings are above and beyond what I need, but theyre pretty impressive anyway. The finger buttons are wonderful. The side buttons are helpful especially when gaming. The grips on the side are very comfortable and show no signs of falling off. I would say this mouse is groovy. Hope potential buyers read this.

> 3 dayIve had this for quite a while now, and I already know Im going to get another when the time comes. Used the original for a couple years, but the left click died on me one day. So I got a temporary generic one for a while which sucked and made go shop for a better one. Found a solid deal on Black Friday for a Logitech g502 Hero. I liked the functionality, but it was pretty small. The size and ergonomics of it were so bad that I couldnt play a FPShooter for even an hour without my entire hand spasming and cramping. So I looked around for Ol reliable, but discovered the new one is practically the same. So I went ahead and got the Rival 300. Immediately felt relief in my hand and my aim showed drastic improvement. The larger grip is exactly what I need, and now I know. I highly recommend for anyone who plays grip-intense games.

01-06-2025Initial impressions: GREAT mouse! I use it daily for work and gaming. When searching for a mouse I have several criteria: -It must be ambidextrous (Im left-handed). -It must have several programable buttons on the sides. -It cant have the gamer aesthetic. -It must be less than $100. This mouse met all of those criteria in spades. I really appreciate the simplicity of the design, and its very comfortable to use. Its half as much as my budget allows. And best of all? Its AMBIDEXTROUS. Do you know how hard it is for left-handed people to find a good gaming mouse with actual buttons on the side? Nearly impossible, 90% of the market is catered to right-handers - understandably so! There are literally dozens of us. This was a VERY good mouse for a couple of years. Three years on however and there are two issues I have: -First, the slightly rubberized coating is wearing off on the buttons. Fortunately its not really sticky, but its still kinda gross and I do wish it was a simple plastic coating. It can feel gross after a little while (of course it doesnt help that my hands can get a little sweaty). -Second, over the past couple of weeks Ive noticed the scroll wheel going bad. The physical action isnt bad, but the actual scrolling isnt registering properly. If I scroll down at any speed the mouse translates that to a very jittery up-and-down motion, I have to scroll several times to get where Im going. I suppose in the grand scheme of things a $50 mouse being used daily for three years isnt so bad. And Im not sure how long a mouse is expected to last either. I dont know these mice are sold today, but if they are and you need one with the criteria I listed, I think this one is a good buy. Just be aware that it may only last a few years.

Greater than one weekI am a lefty that does not swap buttons so I appreciate that I dont have to wait for the software to load to undo the swap for me like I had to do with my other lefty gaming mouse. This unit was also half the price of the previous one I was using. I also trust SteelSeries software more than some of the brands I have come across. I was a little worried about having the extra buttons on the left side of the mouse I wasnt going to use but you can simply just not assign any function to them in the software. The rubberized grips along the sides are a nice touch and really sealed the deal for me switching out the mice on the other computers I use as well. I took a chance for the price and am glad I did.

> 3 dayDoesnt have the frills of some of the fancier gaming mice, but if you just need a few extra buttons, this is a good pick. I like it much more than the Logitech G502 Hero it replaced. Its lightweight and isnt adjustable, so if you want a heavier mouse or one with weights, look elsewhere. I prefer the lighter weight.

> 3 dayI went through 2 Logitech gaming mice in only 4 years. Each had the double-click problem. They Logitech mice were: 1) Logitech G Pro Gaming FPS Mouse. ** Lasted about 10 months 2) Logitech G303 Daedalus Apex Performance Edition Gaming Mouse. ** Lasted little over 2 years. With that track record for Logitech and a very respected recommendation to try Steel Series mice. I went for a switch in brand after a decade of Logitech. Ive only had this for day two but it is right away a very nice mouse. Complete customization of DPI. Feel is perfect for fingertip grip and perfect size, shape and weight for me. Very smooth tracking and just plain silky smooth to use. Good programmable options. Look, feel and finish is impressive at this price range. Ive had more expensive mice that I didnt like as much. However, I have not yet played games with it, and its only a couple days old. So, time will tell and Ill update this review accordingly to report on any reliability issues. So far, Excellent.

> 3 dayThis one is always good. Its my second time to buy this. This time, it arrives quick.
