> 3 dayThe rival 310 is a great mouse. Ive had it for about 3 months now and its has been amazing. The sensor is great, shape is great, weight is balanced. The materials used are great, there is no rattle, but the scroll wheel can be improved. The left-click button is a little looser than the right, but its not noticeable when using the mouse. All around its almost perfect. The only thing the makes this a four star rather than five is the grips. The grips themselves are fine, they do pick up on a little bit of gunk but they still functional well. Recently though, the adhesive has started to wear off, from standard use. Its not anything that serious, nothing a little bit of super glue wont fix. I just wish SteelSeries didnt skimp out on a decent adhesive. Hopefully they use a better adhesive if we ever get an updated version.

> 3 dayThe mouse is great overall. It feels solid enough (not the same as the Logitech offerings though) and the sensor is great at tracking. The mouse sits low and with my hand size of 20.5x11 my fingers do drag on my mousepad at times. A word of warning the width of the back of the mouse is quite good for my hands but the front portion tapers quite a bit to around 55mm. I found this a bit to narrow for my taste but I can still aim and track well with it. I am still on the fence if it is comfy or not so I will keep it and use it for now and compare it with its bigger brother the rival 600 which has a totally different shape (also on the fence if comfy or not) but better width for me at 62mm. The clicks are something that I must congratulate Steelseries I would say they are nearly as good as the top end Logitech offerings and significantly better IMO than the hairtrigger like switches on Razer (really hate how sensitive and mushy the clicks feel on Razer). Overall I am happy with the mouse and would probably keep it in my arsenal to use for some work and gaming.

> 3 dayGood mouse for $37 but after about 1 year the adhesion of the grey pads on the sides starts to fail and the pads slip. The glue material also leaks out. I fixed this by removing the pads and all the glue material and using gorilla glue gel to adhere the pads. Should get plenty more use out of the mouse now.

> 3 daySide grip is starting to fall off about about 1.5 years of use. This mouse performs completely fine, but the grip needs to be glued on better.

Greater than one weekI was a bit worried about the photos of the rubber sides coming off. My hands do sweat a lot and I am happy to say that there has been no issue with delaminating or anything like that. After using this mouse daily for 7 months, I am very happy with this purchase. I recommend this mouse 100%.

> 3 dayThis was one of my favorite mouse i had bought after switching from Razer and their not so good software and heavy mouse. I had this mouse for a year and one night my mouse USB was not recognized and I went through 6 options to fix it and soon I plugged it into another laptop and it wouldnt connect either. So the USB just stopped working and I never experienced this before and didnt buy the warranty thinking I wouldnt just break my mouse so u wouldnt need the warranty. Just buy the warranty I dont know how often this problem has occurred with others. Overall pretty great mouse.

> 3 dayI love this mouse for its form factor. Pretty much every gaming mouse you buy that has a decent reputation will have great performance. High sensitivity isnt needed and if anything is terrible for competitive gaming or anyone at all. Anything above 800 dpi is typically useless outside of specific applications since ideally you want 400-800 dpi. I like the grips for comfort and the simple design. It has nice RGB if you care about that, I personally dont, although I do use my favorite color. My only issue with the mouse is the build quality. Ive had 4 Steelseries mouse products and they always end up with a broken mouse 4/5 button since I use them for push to talk and melee in games. This is the last time Im going to buy one since the right grip on this one peeled off before a year even passed, although the mouse buttons are actually going strong 2 years later

> 3 dayIve used Logitech mice since, forever. G500, G502, MX reboot, etc etc. I wish I made the change sooner. My friend swore by steelseries as a competitive CS:GO player. I just casually game, from shooters to RTS and mix of anything in between. Its not like this mouse made me a better gamer, but its so much more comfortable to use than any of my mice. Shooters are a tad more enjoyable as my hand isnt cramping. Am I landing more shots? Eh... prolly not. I still suck but hey, at least Im having way more fun. Clicking seems to register better though. The software is normal. I used it initially and for the first week tweaking my settings and my sensitivity, but after that I havent touched it. The only thing I thought I would miss is the side to side scrolling on my Logitech. I dont miss it so its not a dealbreaker for me. It may be for you. My last Logitech was the MX reboot, which didnt last me a year and I reverted to a G502 that I had initially replaced.

> 3 dayEdit: The issue did eventually resolve itself and Ive had no problems since. I can only assume that the issue was dust in the USB port or something similar, rather than any problem with the mouse itself. Ive updated my rating to reflect this. I purchased this mouse in late January, direct from Amazon and it arrived quickly and in working order. I opted for a used item, described as Condition: Used - Very Good - Minor cosmetic imperfection on top, front or sides of item. Item will come in original packaging, which I took to mean a factory-new item with a minor, non-functional defect. Looking at the mouse, the only visible defect is a small burr on the right mouse button which is unnoticeable during use. The mouse seemed completely functional, was very responsive, comfortable, and easy to adjust the settings on. I had previously purchased a headset from Steelseries so setup was done through the same program. However, as of mid-May the left mouse button has begun to noticeably double click during use. As of writing Ive found that it double clicks about 30-40% of the time, often multiple times in succession, which is pretty abysmal for a gaming mouse which is advertised as having a 50 million click lifespan. Given that its only seen 4 months of not particularly heavy use, I can only imagine that the mouse was in some way defective beyond the minor cosmetic imperfection mentioned in the items description. I would return this item if I could.

> 3 dayHave had it for three years and has been a really good mouse! Still going strong
