I used the G Pro before so this is bigger than Im used to, but it doesnt really bother after a while. Good for its price. All mice will eventually degrade over time, and my rating is based on how long it lasts vs its price. The scroll wheel started acting up after maybe half a year. It would register a scroll even if I havent scrolled to the next tick. That got pretty annoying. Ive had a couple of other more expensive mice start double clicking after only a few months of use. This mouse lasted about 14 months now before I ran into clicking issues and honestly, Im pretty happy with that. I got this mouse for $40, so overall, Id say the price is very much worth it. Im ordering a new one now. Ill only rate it 4 just because the scroll wheel issue happened way too quickly. EDIT: Ive still been using this thing for over a year since I posted this review, and its still going strong. There are a few hiccups, like when I first made this review, but they are pretty rare. I havent touched the new one I bought yet. Still in its box. But, I still cannot give this a 5 because of the wheel. Other than that, this is a fantastic mouse.

I dont play games daily, just need a quality mouse with high pointer precision AND ambidextrous design. I have to swtich hand as years of using mouse on right arm is causing RSI on every joints in the arm, the worst is shoulder. Only have it for a few hours, construction is good, at least comparable to Logitech G402. Side buttons are not on the same level as the mains though. All buttons are programmable, but I could only use the preset command, eg, when trying to record ALT+F4 as key setting, it immediately close. Logitech and Microsoft can intercept and record this command. It does have Windows preset to close application but direct keyboard command has higher priority than OSs. The shape is like the early Microsoft Intellimouse Optical Mouse, a mouse(multiple units) I used for nearly 10 years until it get phase out. I heard the original Sensei was made to imitate the Intellimouse Optical Mouse. Being the user for nearly 10 years, I find the Sensei 310 to be wider but lower in height. Would have prefer the originals shape as it would be more comfortable for web browsing and leisure uses with palm grip. If you are looking for ambidextrous mouse with sensible price for everyday uses and casual gaming, this is highly recommended.

I went with this over the 110 option due to the extra buttons. I am new to PC gaming, so I wanted something that wouldnt break the bank. I paired this with the Artis 5 headset and Apex 150 keyboard, also from Steelseries. And I must say I am very pleased. My hands are on the larger side. 7.5 long and 3.5 wide and I use a generally claw style grip and this mouse fits perfectly into my hand. My thumb rests right over the side buttons. It just has an all around good feel. As some others have mentioned, its a slightly larger than average sized mouse but thats a preference thing. Personally I like a bigger mouse so its great for me. The cord is very flexible. Even right out of the box the cord posed very little resistance moving the mouse around. Rigid cables can be annoying, but no issue here. This is only relevant if you have multiple Steelseries products, but with their software they do work together very effortlessly with color themes and indicators.

I really like this mouse. I have only one issue which I am not sure if I can hold it against the mouse or myself. I have noticed after a few hours of gaming my wrist did start to hurt a little. I dont know if it was the way I was holding the mouse or positioning my wrist. I gave the mouse 4 / 5 stars because of this. My reasoning is that I am 31 years old, and I have been PC gaming since I was 10 years old and never once have I ever experienced my wrist feeling sore after a few hours of gaming. So.... I blame the mouse slightly and also myself getting old. Anywho... The mouse feels great is responsive and quick. I recommend this product and I really enjoy using it. I love the colors and look of the RGB lighting. I highly recommend downloading the steel series software to maximize this product.

I love this mouse for its form factor. Pretty much every gaming mouse you buy that has a decent reputation will have great performance. High sensitivity isnt needed and if anything is terrible for competitive gaming or anyone at all. Anything above 800 dpi is typically useless outside of specific applications since ideally you want 400-800 dpi. I like the grips for comfort and the simple design. It has nice RGB if you care about that, I personally dont, although I do use my favorite color. My only issue with the mouse is the build quality. Ive had 4 Steelseries mouse products and they always end up with a broken mouse 4/5 button since I use them for push to talk and melee in games. This is the last time Im going to buy one since the right grip on this one peeled off before a year even passed, although the mouse buttons are actually going strong 2 years later

I was a bit worried about the photos of the rubber sides coming off. My hands do sweat a lot and I am happy to say that there has been no issue with delaminating or anything like that. After using this mouse daily for 7 months, I am very happy with this purchase. I recommend this mouse 100%.

TL;DR : If youre on the fence, look no further, but this mouse. You will no be disappointed. I bought this mouse in a pinch after my Logitech G203 had failed. I was expecting less than I got, and expectations were more than exceeded with good-for-large-hands ergonomics. A little wide but thats okay. The plastics are solid, however the rubber grips do get a little sweaty for long term play. Slides around like air even for being on the heavy side compared to many pro and boutique mice that are out there at nearly triple the cost, or more. I LOVE the SteelSeries software for controlling RGB and mouse DPI. Its straight forward and comes with more advanced controls than many competitors. Considering Logitechs lackluster software as of the second half of 2019, I may be considering SteelSeries as my next keyboard canidate.

gonna get straight to the point here for context i play mostly fps games so my review is written specifically with fps games in mind pros: the shape is fantastic for claw and palm grippers very comfortable, build quality is good for me no double clicking issues, side buttons are very good especially for games that utilize them frequently very easy to reach and have satisfying enough clicks, the sensor is obviously very good along with pretty much all mice in this price point, rgb is nice enough if your into it theirs software you can download for some cool effects and dpi adjustment etc, scroll wheel is pretty average no complaints here. cons: the cable could definitely be better no connection issues but after using the model o or any braided cable this just feels lack luster definitely gets in the way once in a while even with a mouse bungee, weight not a con for all but for me its just a tad heavy i would recommend something a bit lighter if you havent tried a mouse under 70g you have to try one definitely helped me improve my flicks and speed, that is pretty much all the cons for me overall its a good mouse would like to see better mouse feet theyre not bad but would be nice to get some pure PTFE mouse feet glide is fine just not amazing. conclusion: great mouse for fps games if you want a mouse with a good shape and not too heavy although its not my absolute favorite it serves its purpose very well. definitely try a glorious model o or model d if you want something lighter tho GG.

Still works well with no hiccups. It has been very reliable as a mouse plus the application has been very easy to use and FAR LESSS annoying than any razer product with synapse that Ive used before.
