> 3 dayComing from the original, and then to the rival which is a bit heavier, I needed another light feeling mouse for mobas and shooters. I prefer my rival 700 for mmos and the relaxed palm grip those games allow you to have. The weight of a mouse in an mmo never matter much for me. Now when we go to league or pubg, I can not use that rival. My hand is constantly going back and forth with large arm movements due to low sensitivity, and my grip actually changes(shooters). I noticed the back of the mouse dragging, I wouldnt get a full lift with the rival. I purchased this in hopes it would solve my problem of weight on my other mouse, and it did just that. Back were the days of my speedy, smooth gliding sensei and I couldnt be happier. Keep in mind the weight is just right for me and may differ depending on your own preference. One thing I would note is that the mouse clicks didnt feel as premium as the rival, but I suppose that could come down to preference as well. I suggest watching some YouTube videos on grip type for your hand length. A lot of content creators have ideal hand measurements for specific mice. Theres a whole science behind mice and keyboards. Best to get started more sooner than later.

> 3 daygonna get straight to the point here for context i play mostly fps games so my review is written specifically with fps games in mind pros: the shape is fantastic for claw and palm grippers very comfortable, build quality is good for me no double clicking issues, side buttons are very good especially for games that utilize them frequently very easy to reach and have satisfying enough clicks, the sensor is obviously very good along with pretty much all mice in this price point, rgb is nice enough if your into it theirs software you can download for some cool effects and dpi adjustment etc, scroll wheel is pretty average no complaints here. cons: the cable could definitely be better no connection issues but after using the model o or any braided cable this just feels lack luster definitely gets in the way once in a while even with a mouse bungee, weight not a con for all but for me its just a tad heavy i would recommend something a bit lighter if you havent tried a mouse under 70g you have to try one definitely helped me improve my flicks and speed, that is pretty much all the cons for me overall its a good mouse would like to see better mouse feet theyre not bad but would be nice to get some pure PTFE mouse feet glide is fine just not amazing. conclusion: great mouse for fps games if you want a mouse with a good shape and not too heavy although its not my absolute favorite it serves its purpose very well. definitely try a glorious model o or model d if you want something lighter tho GG.

> 3 dayGood mouse to use for lefties, programmable in all sorts of ways fairly eaily. HOWEVER broke after 13 months. Reverting to my 5 yr old Logitec G3. Customer service said to do a reinstall (i did) but no dice. Update: Excellent customer service, they replaced the Mouse even if it was 1 month over warranty periode. Glad they did, I am better in CS GO with this mouse.

> 3 dayI love this mouse for its form factor. Pretty much every gaming mouse you buy that has a decent reputation will have great performance. High sensitivity isnt needed and if anything is terrible for competitive gaming or anyone at all. Anything above 800 dpi is typically useless outside of specific applications since ideally you want 400-800 dpi. I like the grips for comfort and the simple design. It has nice RGB if you care about that, I personally dont, although I do use my favorite color. My only issue with the mouse is the build quality. Ive had 4 Steelseries mouse products and they always end up with a broken mouse 4/5 button since I use them for push to talk and melee in games. This is the last time Im going to buy one since the right grip on this one peeled off before a year even passed, although the mouse buttons are actually going strong 2 years later

> 3 dayIve used Logitech mice since, forever. G500, G502, MX reboot, etc etc. I wish I made the change sooner. My friend swore by steelseries as a competitive CS:GO player. I just casually game, from shooters to RTS and mix of anything in between. Its not like this mouse made me a better gamer, but its so much more comfortable to use than any of my mice. Shooters are a tad more enjoyable as my hand isnt cramping. Am I landing more shots? Eh... prolly not. I still suck but hey, at least Im having way more fun. Clicking seems to register better though. The software is normal. I used it initially and for the first week tweaking my settings and my sensitivity, but after that I havent touched it. The only thing I thought I would miss is the side to side scrolling on my Logitech. I dont miss it so its not a dealbreaker for me. It may be for you. My last Logitech was the MX reboot, which didnt last me a year and I reverted to a G502 that I had initially replaced.

Greater than one weekWas very happy to find this mouse. When I started working from home, needed ambidextrous mouse that could hold up to high level gaming. Needed the ambi mouse because I do work / productivity tasks using the mouse left handed and then game right handed to spread the wear and tear on my hands out, so was very happy to find this option. Like the feel, size, button click feel etc, so very happy with my choice. . Taking 1 star back because the thumb buttons are too far forward. The back button is perfectly aligned with my thumb, but I have to reach / shift my hand to hit the front one with obviously takes time, disrupts the flow of gaming as I have to move my hand a little to hit the front thumb button and then move it back.

19-11-2024The mouse is awesome and perfect for gaming, but what Im really happy with is SteelSeries amazing customer service. After about a month the mouse started having issues connecting my laptop. It was acting like a worn out charger cable and sometimes I would have to jiggle the mouse cord to get it to connect. So I contacted customer support and within an hour had a response. It was crazy what they had me do, I had to literally destroy the mouse and send them pictures of it broken apart (I guess they have problems with fraudulent warranty claims so thats why they do this). Once they got the pictures they gave me a code to order a new mouse directly from their site and I had a new mouse in 2 days. So yeah, very happy with my purchase and I will continue to buy products from SteelSeries because I know they stand behind their products and take care of their customers.

> 3 dayLove it for all PC needs; previously used a popular performance mouse from a different well known company which had shoddy construction and unreliable software. This product won me over to now being a very loyal SteelSeries customer. Ive had it over a year and it has not disappointed, the feel is great, the software is excellent and reliable. Absolutely love this mouse, and the SteelSeries QcK mousepads to go with it. If you build quality, reliable products with good construction, you will create loyal customers. SteelSeries did a great job.
