While this is still an excellent sketchbook overall, they have changed something with the paper. This sketchbook used to be my go-to for marker drawings, and it took the markers very well and I got crisp marker lines. However, with the most recent book I purchased, the markers now bleed across the page in a way they never did before. Very sad to have to find a new book, as I like so many other things about this one.

Absolutely perfect to take camping! I had to buy a second book because the kids kept wanting to watercolor with me. Great for small projects, to just practice, or when youve only got an hour or 2. Love that its spiral bound also.

I am disappointed with this mixed media journal as the paper is really not suitable for even light watercolour and there is too much tooth for coloured pencils so I feel it is not good as a mixed media paper. Unfortunately I have left it too late to return it and it was an expensive journal to purchase in UK.

nice thick paper to sketch on. withstands repeated eraser rubs. use it with a kneaded eraser (aka artists eraser) to avoid smudges and dust. would have given 5 stars if it had perforated line along the edge to tear off a sheet.

I love this journal especially for the price. I does the job and it is easily transportable. I dont feel bad about wasting paper as I am a nube to watercolor.
