This journal is so wonderful! I have a small collection of sketchbooks, including some kind of expensive ones, and this one is my favorite. First of all, its the perfect size for a daily journal. I can take it outside, throw it in my purse, and not have to worry about it getting beat up because the covers are sturdy. The paper is 100# and has a very slight tooth. It grabs pigment easily from my watercolor pencils, takes ink and colored pencil well, erases easily, and even takes light watercolor washes - with no bleed through, and hardly any buckling! (Ive actually used watercolor paper that buckles more than this.) I havent collaged on it yet, but I feel sure that itll be fine, because of how it handles watercolor. When I fill this one up, Ill be buying another exactly like it. I cant recommend it highly enough!

My favorite journals of all time. I buy them in the dozens and use ink & watercolor to sketch.

I havent used the product yet, so I cant comment on the quality of paper, but I wanted to share some photos and point out that my product was delivered with a damaged corner and dirty.

This is good watercolor notebook for the price. It is convenient and cheap enough to use as a sketchbook or for practice. It is NOT made from cotton and the manufacturer does not claim it to be. Its a good sketchbook for the price but dont expect 100% cotton Arches quality.

Lurid cover detaches to era earl plain covers. Paper is perfectly Bristol-smooth and extra thick. Highly recommended for ink work.
