> 3 dayThis used to be the best journal! Now it is cheaply made, you should call this what it is, inferior quality bogus paper.

> 3 dayIt is perfect for practicing my watercolors on. Great hard cover and nice thick paper. No bleed through so I can use both sides.

> 3 dayGreat for beginner painters but the paper does noticeably warp after a few washes. Its bearable for sketches but keep that in mind if that bothers you. Other than that its a good sketchbook with lots of good quality paper and a decent size

Greater than one weekThis is an awesome little booklet for watercolor painting. I bought it for my daughter, who is learning to use watercolor pencils. The page size is perfect for learners who dont want to necessarily use a large piece of paper for their experiments and creations.

> 3 dayI bought this based on the paper size. Its hard to find good watercolor paper in a spiral bound book this size. I found that the paper took color well and overall the product was well made. The drawback to the paper is that it warps too much. Once I applied water to the paper it started warping and created pools of water. Not conducive to creating even washes of color. Now I did use the paper while still in the book. The paper wasnt perforated so removing it would be difficult.

> 3 dayThis little book has served me well over the years. I make art / writing journals out of these and art galleries buy them. They are not cheap, when I finish with them! The paper is inexpensive, textured and 130 lbs., so it makes for a good surface both for painting and sketching, as well as for writing. I love the way it feels. I have been making my journals since 2010.
