Got this for our mostly potty trained 2 year old. It tends to scoot back under him when he scoots back in his seat which is kind of a pain. We havent had a lot of leak expierence but of 2 accidents weve had one still got the car seat wet, not soaked, but significantly wet. That may also have been due to the scooting back issue as well. Also it is air dry which is kind of a bummer but they dont take too terribly long and it is certainly preferable to undoing the car seat cover and straps to wash and dry it. Overall its good but dont expect it to stop any heavy leaks and if you have an accident prone toddler I would probably get 2 to rotate because of dry time :)

This product is a clear winner. We actually had an issue when ordering the first time. The package contained a black t-shirt instead of the seat pad. Contacted Amazon and they were quick to refund. We decided to try it again since this really looked like our best option. Second order was a success. We have actually only had one accident in the car since we purchased this and the product worked as advertised. The liquid did not penetrate the pad. I would recommend to anybody looking for extra protection from accidents in the car.

We got these for both the car seat and stroller when my daughter was potty training. They fit well in all the different strollers and carseats we have. She never had an accident on them but did spill a large cup of water on her lap. The piddle pad absorbed all the water and there was none on the car seat. We still have it on the carseat since it is good for spills and easier to shake out crumbs/etc then vacuuming.

I have two & have used them for over 9 months. They are so easy to slip into the carseat & remove for cleaning. They hold up well in the washer but I air dry them (not required). Great absorbency & the shape allows puddles to stay in the piddle pad even if its literally dripping. If you pick it up correctly, you wont spill. I have a son & the buckle that come up from under his legs is very close to his body. He has peed into the hole allowing the buckle to pass through the pad & gotten the carseat itself wet but that hasnt happened since we graduated to a new carseat.

Bought this for use with our second child and started using it right away in her infant carseat. From previous experience, having to remove a car seat or stroller cover for wash is not only cumbersome, but means you cant use the carseat or stroller until washing is done. Ive already had an opportunity to see this pad in action when my newborn had some heavy duty spit up in the carseat, and this saved us from a major wash, but some did leak through the hole where the buckle fit through, which is why I didnt give it 5 stars. I understand the need for the hole, but it is a bit wide. Otherwise great buy, and would definitely recommend.

I have 2 of these in my car. One in my daughters convertible car seat and one spare in case of an accident-- dont want her sitting one a wet liner nor do I want to take the chance of sitting her directly in her seat in case we have 2 accidents in 1 day. However, when I purchase this one recently I didnt realize it was exactly what I had. I needed one with a higher backing to help protect my sons infant car seat from blowouts. So I returned this one and ordered a different one to try. However this one is great for toddler leaks that dont go up the back! Lol.

I used this to protect the car seat from baby blow outs and it worked great. But now that my baby is a toddler it was not absorbent enough to catch a full blown pee accident. We went on a longer than usual trip and I didnt consider the 9 oz sippy cup of juice I gave her for the ride. We were stuck in traffic when she told me she had to go and she couldnt wait till we stopped at the gas station. She let it all go. I guess it got most of it and protected any from seeping past the car seat to my upholstery but I still had to put a blanket between her and the seat to keep her dry once I changed her. It did soak the seat and I had to wash it.

This has helped keep my potty training toddlers from destroying their car seats. The only thing I dont like is that it moves when either of them wiggle their bottoms into their carseats. Make sure to check its placement every single time. I have only washed one once and it came out of the wash in perfect condition. I personally dont dry anything that going on/into a carseat as I am afraid they may shrink.

This little invention has saved me many times during the potty training process. Removing a car seat cover is a major pain and this little seat guard has kept me from having to do that at least 3 times. It’s a little absorbent and provides a solid barrier against the car seat. It also has non skid material on the bottom so it doesn’t slide around in the seat. Plus, the seatbelt threads through the bottom of the cover, keeping it firmly in place. I recommend this to anyone potty training a child or facing lots of potty accidents. This saves everyone grief and I bought an extra, just in case.

My middle child has been having problems with incontinence in the car so Ive been using a plastic bag and a towel in her seat until I saw this. We used it the other day and had her first accident. It did still leak in the back corner where the seat belt comes up. This is a good product I think if your child does not have major leakage. I will still use it, but go back to my plastic bag/towel solution since it has worked the best over the months. Might not be the most sightly, but it works.
