> 3 dayThis has been great to have for potty training accidents in the carseat. It is absorbant and leak proof so the carseat stays dry. However, the tab that comes up to protect the strap between the legs is too short to fully protect the strap from urine. I feel like making it longer and fully encircle the strap would be a huge improvement. Also, it is super easy to pop in the washing machine, but cannot be dried in the dryer, so I would suggest having 2 of them.

> 3 dayThis a great item for potty training to keep from having to take out a car seat and completely clean it after every accident. I highly recommend this product. We used it when our child was an infant and continue to use it for potty training.

> 3 dayOur son rarely have accidents on his stroller or car seat but he got sick the first week after we enrolled him into daycare and this happened to be installed on his stroller when he caught the bug. Luckily, the leakage (from his diarrhea) didnt seep through. This piddle pad saved us a weeks worth of headaches. Handwashing it was fairly easy and it dried up suprisingly quick (overnight) despite its thickness compared to other brands. We have another piddle pad that we installed on his car seat and it is lighter thinner than this one. However, this one is becoming our favorite because it doesnt shift as much when installed.

> 3 dayI use these in my toddlers’ carseats for two reasons: 1) For my potty training 3 yr old. He hasn’t had many accidents in his car seat, but I like having a buffer between him and the surface of the seat for easier cleaning. I don’t expect it to completely hold and contain all of the urine if he does have an accident, but simply to make it easier to clean him or have the ability for him to still sit in a relatively dry seat until we get home. 2) I also have one in my 1 yr olds seat, who hasn’t started potty training yet, but is a terribly messy eater. With this seat insert, I can simply pull it out, shake the crumbs off and keep going.

> 3 dayWorks well enough to catch most of the leaks from potty training accidents. We did have leaks around the open part where the buckle comes through, as that hole is pretty big. And like others have said, it does slide around quite a bit when my kid goes to climb in her seat. But I get that there are likely limitations due to safety. Overall, for the price, its helpful enough and makes it easier to clean up accidents.

> 3 dayI purchased 3 carseat liners to test them myself. The Britax Seat Saver Waterproof liner, the Summer Infant total coverage car piddlepad and the Summer infant deluxe piddle pad. I put them on our high chairs, poured 1/4 cup water on each of them and waited 5 minutes to see what would happen. The Britax soaked in all the water, but the bottom side was totally dry. The Summer infant deluxe piddle pad came in 2nd, while it soaked in some of the water some stayed beaded up on top of the fabric. None leaked through the bottom. Finally, the Summer total coverage piddlepad came in last. None of the liquid soaked through, it all stayed beaded up on top. So if it was urine, taking a kid out of the seat it would have run all over and still made a mess. No liqud soaked through the fabric so I cant really say if the bottom liner is waterproof or not. We are returning both summer piddle pads and purchasing more of the Britax for both of our cars. FYI if you are considering the summer piddle pads, they are exactly the same size (though one advertises extra large waterproof protection). The same pattern is used to make both pads. The Britax has the most coverage out of all 3 models. I hope that helps!

> 3 dayRecently we took a short out-of-town trip and the baby had a diaper blowout. Thankfully I had the piddle pad in place, it contained all of the mess and we were able to continue our trip. If this hadnt been in place, we wouldve had to have gone back home, it was a pretty big mess. At first I wasnt sure why this was black, it seemed to me that it would make the car seat really hot if it sat in the sun, but after the diaper blowout, I was thankful it was black. It washed up great, but since its black we dont have to worry about any stains. This is an item Ill purchase for my friends baby showers, so helpful!

> 3 dayIf you dont have one of these youre missing out. After my first daughter had a blow out in her pumpkin seat that requires us to take off all the fabric and put a blanket down for her to ride in it on the way home from a trip, I started researching solutions so I wouldnt have to take the car seat apart every time something like that happened. And here it is! We have two, one in my 2 year olds car seat in case she has an accident and one in the babys seat. My 2 year old has has pee accidents in the car and this has saved me more than once. Huge fan.

> 3 dayWhere has this been my whole mothering life??? Ive been putting down diapers or towels in the car seats and praying that they didnt wet themselves on the way to school or home... and then I discovered the PIDDLE PAD! No more worries! I cant tell you how many times Ive had to hose down our car seat and wash the covers... this thing is a godsend! Per other recommendations, I did wash it first in hopes that it would help with absorbency - so far, so good!
