Summer Deluxe Piddle Pad, Black

> 3 dayMy sister has something like this for her potty-training daughter, but she couldnt remember the name of it; so I did a search and looked at the various reviews for this type of product. I decided on the Piddle Pad and bought two of these in advance of a 21 hour road trip with two toddlers in diapers, in case of spills or leaky diapers. I liked that they were machine washable and had the crotch seatbelt protection area. First day of the road trip our 2 year olds diaper leaked. I was so glad we had the Piddle Pad, otherwise it would have been a plastic bag under his butt for the next leg of the journey. But the car seat was dry! We just grabbed the other Piddle Pad from our 1 year olds seat (her diapers werent as likely to leak) and stuck the wet Piddle Pad in a bag with the wet clothes to wash when we got to our destination. Before the end of the trip, another diaper had leaked onto the Piddle Pad. So they both got good use protecting the car seats from leaks and saving me a lot of hassle! And with potty training in the near future (hopefully), these will come in handy for that too. A great investment for long trips, short trips, potty training and just general car seat protection from spills and leaks of diapers or sippy cups/bottles!

> 3 dayMy daughter was a “power Pooper” from the age of about 2 months old and would have a complete blowout with 99% of her diapers, so at least one huge blowout a day for several months. Since her favorite place to poop was her car seat, we were stuck washing her entire car seat constantly, which was a nightmare. This liner saved us—when she had a blowout, we were able to remove and wash the liner instead of having to wash the entire car seat! It is thin enough that it doesn’t compromise safety, but totally waterproof and covers the entire Butt area—the bottom, sides and buckle area, so leaks rarely occur. I recommend this to all of my friends having babies now, and am going to get it back out in a few weeks when I start to potty train her!

> 3 dayLove, love, love these. I thought from the way that the fabric feels that it would get sweaty in the Texas summer heat. That has not been the case at all. I have them in all our car seats and in the stroller too. I cant tell you how many times it has saved me from having to take apart the car seat and wash the whole thing and then, the worst part, put it back together again. From bodily fluids to spilled drinks to cracker crumbs-these things take it all. They wash easily and back in the car they go. I only wish I had discovered them before I learned how much I hate washing the car seat covers. I have Britax car seats in case you are wondering about fit. They sit down in their well without moving around much. They are floppy on my bumbleride stroller and sit well in my Chicco stroller.

> 3 dayThis is a must-have for potty training kids. It absorbs well and protects the car seat from accidents. Its so much easier to wash this item than to take a car seat apart for cleaning.

> 3 dayI wish we had bought these when we first installed the car seats. Our little one drinks a ton of water, and often the diaper doesnt last even short trips. The car seats we have require you to remove the carseat, and all the straps to take off the cleanable seat pad. This is quite a pain and requires too much time to do often. With this it takes 5 secs to install, and less to pull it off. Throw it in the wash and good to go. Comes with 2, and at a great price. We have a carseat in each car, so I am going to order another pack to have 2 in each car!

> 3 dayI bought 2 of these for the versatility to still have one clean one when an accident happens or to put one in another seat such as a stroller. I washed them as soon as they were received, and then air dried. I did not use fabric softener, as that can cause materials to be much less absorbent. I believe she’s only ever had a couple of accidents in her seat (mostly while with her grandma). Only one was REALLY bad, and if I remember correctly it soaked up 98% of the mess. All other times it has definitely saved the seat... and my sanity & precious time.

> 3 dayIve never written a review for any product, but felt compelled to for this one. I just got this in the mail yesterday. My daughter is almost 6 months old, and weve had blow outs, but thankfully, they have never gotten all over her car seat. I thought maybe I would store this until potty training begins, but decided to try it out immediately, and Im so glad I did! Just got back from the store and she had her first blow out that would have gotten on her car seat if I didnt have the Piddle paddle in it. Just threw it in the washing machine and saved myself the time and hassle of trying to clean the car seat. Do yourself a favor and buy it! Totally worth it because we moms know we dont have all the time in the world to scrub car seats. :)

> 3 dayWhen I say this has saved me from having to remove my childs carseat, best believe its a blessing. Potty training is hard on most people and this pad took a lot of anxiety out of it for me. You can pop this in and take it out to wash and it comes clean and dries easily and quickly. Doesnt smell like urine once its been washed and I dont even have to use enzymes on it. I know youre not supposed to use anything in the carseat that didnt come with it, but honestly parents with multiple kids or children with disabilities like mine just dont have the time or the help to be able to disassemble a carseat and wash it every time a child has an accident. Thanks for making this!

> 3 dayDoesnt catch ALL of the pee, but a great way to catch most during potty training. We have a carseat that is SUCH a pain to take the cover off and clean, the piddle pad makes it easier when she has an accident! I have found some of the pee gets through if its a big accident.

> 3 daythis is suuuuper handy! I had one in the car seat and one in the stroller, every accident while potty training was very well contained, its very easy to clean. and now we use it still and it has saved me from a lot of ice cream melts!
