> 3 dayIf my daughter did a small accident, this worked great. I wouldnt have to wash the entire seat cover. But if she just let everything that she had been holding in for hours go in her seat, this pad didnt save much at all. The accident still soaked through and the seat cover needed to be washed. Keep in mind, I have only dealt with number 1 accidents, my little one hasnt done a number 2 with this yet so I cannot attest to it strength on that end.

Greater than one weekThis is a great product. My son outgrew the car seat insert but still needed something to protect the seat in case of blowouts. This pad fit my baby trend car seat perfectly and has worked great at containing any messes. My only issue is that, since its black, you cant see if there is a mess in the car seat and have to feel for it, which isnt the most pleasant thing to do. Overall, I would totally recommend this product and have already purchased a second as a back up pad for our diaper bag.

> 3 dayThe unfortunate part of this for us, is that since weve had them, weve had no accidents... with 3 kids all under 3, it was all of the MANY accidents we had previously that lead us to buy them. The good news is that these things are in their car seats, they are ready for action, and I dont have to worry about taking a long drive, or a short one, and forgetting the pre-potty break. If there is an emergency while in the car, it isnt so stressful anymore. Although weve had them for about 6 months, or more, and I do like them, we havent experienced their absorbency yet. So, I cant really state whether that part is worth the purchase or not. I do like how plush they are, how thick and absorbent the seem to be, how large they are and cover the whole bottom and pretty high up on the back of the car seat. Overall it is the piece of mind that makes me happy about the purchase!

> 3 dayWe got this for a road trip we went on and although cant speak to the absorbency or cleanup (surprisingly!) we can say it fits great in the seat and doesnt get in the way at all of the buckles or anything. Cant even notice it in there! Great peace of mind - as the seat cover itself is such a pain to clean!!

> 3 dayI own three of these but only have two kids because I never want to be without a clean one, and I buy them for baby shower gifts! They are a necessity for containing diaper explosions AND during potty training. Without them, you have to unthread your carseat straps, wash the car seat, and then rethread the straps (the first time I had to unthread, wash, and rethread my carseat, the unthreading and rethreading alone took 45 minutes because I didnt know what I was doing . . .). And then you cant go anywhere in your car while you are washing your car seat. It is especially nice for vacations when stopping your trip so that you can go sit in the laundromat for a few hours isnt very ideal since you obviously arent going to make your baby sit in a wet/dirty/stinky car seat for the rest of the day; with a piddle pad, you just remove the dirty one, clean up your child, and voila! You are ready to continue on your trip!

> 3 dayMy sister has something like this for her potty-training daughter, but she couldnt remember the name of it; so I did a search and looked at the various reviews for this type of product. I decided on the Piddle Pad and bought two of these in advance of a 21 hour road trip with two toddlers in diapers, in case of spills or leaky diapers. I liked that they were machine washable and had the crotch seatbelt protection area. First day of the road trip our 2 year olds diaper leaked. I was so glad we had the Piddle Pad, otherwise it would have been a plastic bag under his butt for the next leg of the journey. But the car seat was dry! We just grabbed the other Piddle Pad from our 1 year olds seat (her diapers werent as likely to leak) and stuck the wet Piddle Pad in a bag with the wet clothes to wash when we got to our destination. Before the end of the trip, another diaper had leaked onto the Piddle Pad. So they both got good use protecting the car seats from leaks and saving me a lot of hassle! And with potty training in the near future (hopefully), these will come in handy for that too. A great investment for long trips, short trips, potty training and just general car seat protection from spills and leaks of diapers or sippy cups/bottles!

> 3 dayMy 2-year-old daughter has put this to the test three times now and it saved me every time! I just whip it off, throw it in the wash and its good to go by the next day. I took off one star because I really feel like the part at the front should be a little bigger and taller (the part that goes in between her legs/up the back of the buckle.) Thats the only place where some of the pee has managed to leak out. But still -- I only had to dab off the buckle piece, which was MUCH easier than having to strip the whole seat cover for cleaning. Awesome price here on Amazon too, compared with in stores.

Greater than one weekA must for a newly potty-trained toddler! My daughter potty trained right at 2 years old, and had great control. But, long road trips did make me nervous. Especially in the beginning, she was prone to minor accidents if she fell asleep in the car. This seat cover fit great in her car seat, wasnt bulky, and didnt bunch up when she sat in it. Its soft to the touch, and definitely stops accidents from seeping into the seat. A year later, we still leave it in her seat, just in case. She hasnt had a potty related accident in many months, but carsickness has appeared recently. She threw up on a 12 hour road trip, and this pad caught the majority of the mess. We still had a bit to clean up on the rest of her seat, but this definitely saved us several hours of cleaning. Highly recommend it for anyone with toddlers!

> 3 dayGreat for potty training or accidents there after. You cant always get to a potty quick enough when in the car and your child has to go so this is a great backup just in case. I occasionally take it out and put it in the stroller too if I am worried little one may have a accident. Simple concept but works well. I bought two so when one is in the wash I have another one to use.

> 3 dayI was skeptical but it does it job perfectly! My two year old has only had one accident on it (fingers crossed for it being her only accident on it) and it held up great! The car seat was not wear as it didn’t soak through at all! I have a chick nextfit car seat and it works great with it. I would highly recommend this car seat “piddle pad” to anyone with a potty training toddler!
