> 24 hourIt blocks the sun really well, and thats why I bought it, but it advertised slots to prevent wind issues. I found mild wind turned it inside out just as with typical cheap umbrellas. I like the button that closes as well as opens. I am satisfied.

> 24 hourJust received this umbrella today , very pleased !! Nice and sturdy. Folds nice for carrying in a purse or bag . Its obvious the uv protection with its reflective silver white exterior and sturdy fabric with a black inside. Ive had a basil cell on my head 20 years ago and a cryogenic treatment to the same are for abnormal cells about 2 years ago so a hat is to warm for me but an umbrella is great , the air vent in the top is a big plus if any wind is around!! Very highly recommend!! After I use this umbrella, I might need to update this review if I experience any failure with the mechanics as expressed by other reviewers. Im going to take precautions opening it so thanks for the warning!!

> 24 hourDont bother. This thing is useless. If there is even the lightest of breezes it inverts itself. Unless you live somewhere with zero air movement, this will not help you stay out of the sun or rain or anything.

> 24 hourThis umbrella opens and closes with an automatic button, but its hard to get the stem telescoped back again for compactness. You have to apply considerable pressure from both the top and the bottom---NOT good when you are in a hurry or when its wet. Its also a little heavier than a conventional umbrella. The strap is secured with Velcro rather than a snap. It could be used only as a sunshade, but if I were using this umbrella in the rain, I think I would put it in a plastic bag after closing it with the button, rather than having to push hard on the wet top to telescope it back into its smallest shape. Thats too inconvenient when youre in a hurry. BUT I have had opportunities now to use it as protection from the summer sun, and it definitely helps. Where i live, sunstroke is a real risk, and this solar umbrella makes quite a difference. I consider it a good, practical purchase.

> 24 hourIt’s good for the price I use it on a daily when the sun is out “car salesmen” but after a few days of using, it did have about 4 small holes. I did not drop it or anything, overall good product.

> 24 hourThis brand is working out well and is much better than the one I bought before, which broke quickly and was listed as a “Amazon‘s choice“ (never trusting that label again). This umbrella however has held up just fine and does provide really good protection from the sun.

> 24 hourI bought this umbrella and a golf-sized uv blocker for comparison. This one is my favorite. Its a nifty size for one or two. I used it at a windy midday baseball game to fend off the desert sun as we sat on fully exposed bleachers. After an hour, we were totally sunburn-free (but thirsty from the heat and bored by the game). It really did keep us cooler and the windflap thing on top let it blow out and then pop back in place when the wind bluffed up. Having just lost a lesser umbrella to a windgust, I was really happy to see this one sturdily withstand. Its lightweight and easy to hold up, snaps back down easily and is made with quality materials. Apart from the UV blocking and wind resistance, I think my favorite part of this umbrella is how well made it is. Definitely recommend.
