> 3 dayLights are only 2 types, soft low and blinding bright, which is great. However, the clicking button is LOUD. Not a fan of that in a quiet house and a burglar finds out where Im at because he can hear me click before he gets blasted. Other than that, the light seems very durable. Ive not had it long enough, but the old metal Cree tactical lights Ive had for about 6-7 yrs are still working, still tough and has a quiet button, as well as a strobe, which this SureFire does not have sadly.

> 3 dayI have three of these. They make great gifts and even better flashlights. All weather, on rifles, shotguns or just a badass all around light. Ill probably buy three more. Everyone could use one

> 3 dayThis is a pretty awesome flashlight! I had an older version that just had one setting and a button that wasnt a click on click off style and this one is much improved over that version (I know theyre two different models but still). I couldnt be happier. its been left out in the rain, and dropped in the mud and still operates just fine. I rarely use the high setting unless im just showing off so the batteries are still going strong.

> 3 dayI bought a 6px for a shotgun mounted light prior to purchasing this. I keep this one in my truck and the performance is equal to that of my 6px. It feels slightly lighter, and the bezel and components seem to be identical. The only difference I notice is the plastic for the battery housing (whereas the 6px has aluminum housing). You really cant go wrong with a surefire. Would trust my life to this light. If you want to mount it to something that recoils, you might want to go with a higher model from surefire.

> 3 dayI bought this to go with an older, incandescent Surefire 6P tactical light and Im very happy with my purchase. The G2X Pro Dual Output light features 2 power levels, low & high. On the low setting its plenty bright for locating things in a dark house, garage or finding a dropped bolt under the hood of your car. But on the bright setting it will wash out even the Surefire 6P Xenon bulb. The 6Ps Xenon bulb is very bright and will wash out the brightest of Maglites beams by way of comparison. The G2X will light up things over 100 yards away quite nicely. Switching from low-to-high is easy. Push the tailcap button and you get the low power beam. Release and reactivate within 2 seconds and you get the bright high-power beam. If you push the button hard it will turn on the light in its current mode until you push the button again so you dont have to continuously push on the tailcap button. This isnt a cheap light and it shows in the construction. The body is a Nitrolon polymer thats not as cold to grab as aluminum and nicely contoured for a good grip. The head is machined aluminum with 6 flats to prevent it from rolling easily. The push button on the tailcap is rugged and sealed. The beam is pre-focused so unlike Maglights you cant switch from spot to flood style. But there is plenty of light output. Cons: Uses 2 CR123A lithium batteries which can be expensive. But you can buy a dozen for between $18-$20 via Amazon at the same time (recommended). Because of the high output capabilities, battery run times can be very short (read the descriptions). These are intended for short, periodic uses (i.e. police tactical flashlights, search & rescue, etc.) and the head/lens area can get too hot to touch if left on for extended periods. Mine is in basic black which is hard to find in the dark. For emergency kits Id suggest either the Yellow version or the Orange Fire-Rescue version as they are easier to see in low light.

> 3 dayI was looking for an alternate budget friendly AR weapon light. I am extremely satisfied with this. Paired it with a light Mlok flashlight mount. All of this for under $70!

> 3 dayNever have I ever had a problem with Surfire lights. High quality materials, very good illumination, definitely a good light for the price. If you are not ready to spend $300+ on your weapon light, but you want something reliable, this is the light I strongly suggest. Good: - High quality - Very broad light, with fair distance - Great price/quality ratio - Two modes of operation Bad: - Not the best light to use with a pressure switch, because of two modes of operation - OEM pressure switch is fairly expensive so I had to look for an alternative

> 3 dayIncredible and remarkably small flashlight. Solid construction. didnt know if the nitrolon body would be as sturdy as the aluminum, but it is very much up for the task. crazy bright, and hyper efficient. I work as a stage hand, and through a month of shows, it never failed, and is still chugging with the stock batteries it came with. DO NOT SHINE HIGHER THAN WAIST WHEN PEOPLE ARE AROUND. Again, crazy bright. will cause damage, but thats what you get. Highly recommend, even for EDC.

Greater than one weekIts a surefire, and you know what that means, whomever is looking into it whether youre mounting it on a gun or just using it around the house, theyre sure to have their retinas melted right out of their sockets. I also enjoy that this model has a softer light setting in case youre not looking to use 6 batteries in one night, and it really makes the batteries last, you know, until its time for retina melting.

> 3 dayI love this light for a number of reasons The dual outputs are so well thought out. The low isnt too bright and the high projects well but doesnt blind the user either. I prefer surefires UI for changing between settings. Click once for low output. Release and click again within 2 seconds to go to high mode. Its a much more reliable way to get to the high output than on my lights from other manufacturers. If you need high mode quickly, I like knowing that it will come on with only one more click
