Excellent option if your camera cage does not have any cable pinches.

Neat gadget, overpriced considering the same concept can be emulated a lot cheaper if you buy a clip on eBay for the quick release and detachment and just tie a knot on the cord you want to anchor.

I bought the JerkStopper with my Tether Tools cable mostly because I am clumsy. Its already saved my camera twice. The USB port side popped right out and that little bit of slack that was in the loop kept me from toppling both my computer and my camera! A must have if you shoot tethered with any camera.

The only negative is that the way it connects to the mac computer usb ports. They are side by side and It is very tight when you put the usb cord in and the jerk stopper in. You also need an extra usb port. If you need that 2nd usb port you are in trouble.

Works as advertised. Pricey.

I had boughten one JerkStopper earlier but working with 2-DSLRs I needed a 2nd one plus one for the Laptop. These items will save you money in the long run for protecting the ports on either the camera or laptop.

Works great. Get this to prevent jerks from ruining your shoot! ;-)
