So! This holds cold temp VERY well be wary of leaving it in the freezer bc my head was def frozen! The biggest down side for me is that I ordered the pink and it does in fact NOT block out light. I thought of returning it for the black but I just didn’t want to wait but I could just throw my own eye mask over it maybe? Anyways pink does not block light so I’d go with the black super sad on that point. The pricing for what it actually is pretty high but the coldness hold is crazy.

I was slightly skeptical about how well this would work, but if youve ever had a bad migraine and could grab something like this and then have it work without anything else.. it just sounds too good to be true. But I had bought this about a month ago just to have on hand should I need it and last night I needed it. Right at the onset I remembered I had bought it and so I dug it out of the freezer took it out of the bag that it stays in while not in use, then laid it on a clean dish towel for it to thaw out slightly, like a couple of minutes, or long enough for me to drink a glass of water because hydration is important. Then I got in bed and put the cap on. At first it was still pretty cold, but it wasnt so cold that I had to take it off entirely, just didnt pull it down over my eyes right away. After a few more minutes I was able to pull it down over my eyes and just let it do its thing while I snuggled into my favorite blanket. Since I didnt catch the time before I started this process, I couldnt say exactly how long it took to work, but I woke up when it was completely defrosted and I didnt have any migraine symptoms!! The thing Im going to do now is buy a second one just incase.

I like the amount of pressure around the head and that the gel is not over the ears to make the ears too cold. When a migraine comes, I take a pain reliever and slip this over my head to provide much quicker relief waiting for the meds to take effect.

I love that it hold my head with just the right amount of compression to be soothing. I chose this one over the less expensive ones because most of those have Velcro and that is not as snug and also would probably not be as comfortable.

Oh, where to start! My wife has awful, debilitating allergies. And this was a LIFE-SAVER for her. She says it helps with her sinus pain and severe headache, even for hours after it is off. That has really changed her ability to function well during the day. I was so incredibly pleased. She also does not like having things over her eyes, as other products have irritated her. I took a chance on this, and she don’t mind one bit. The gel-like, soft insides of the mask hug perfectly to the skin, and feel relieving and not claustrophobic. I have stolen it from the freezer many a time… usually when I just need some relaxation. Highly recommend! Why didn’t I buy this sooner?! I have been suffering from headaches/migraines after some health problems and this is amazing for helping to calm them down. The gel that it’s made out of makes it form to your head and isn’t too hard. Keeps you cool and gives so much relief. I want to buy a second one to have on rotation. It is great for all head sizes! I think I have a big head and this fits great!

Love the compression. Without a washcloth as a barrier it is too cold if kept in the freezer. It’s been great for migraines.
