> 24 hourAfter years of wiping with a damp sponge, my wooden salad bowls and tongs were in need of some tlc I ordered this food grade mineral oil and am very pleased I did. It’s thick enough not to spill like water when it’s poured but spreads easily across a wooden surface. I used some clean cotton fabric to spread the oil around the inside and outside of my bowls and let them sit for 24 hours before using. The wood shined and looked like new. There was no greasy residue lingering - and importantly, no smell. I’m glad I bought the larger size so I’ll have plenty for future treatments. Now that I know how good this is, and how easy to apply, I won’t let my bowls ever get so dry.

> 24 hourThis oil was so easy to spread over my new board and really soaked in overnight. After wiping the excess with a paper towel, I was really pleased to find no oily, greasy feel to the board.

> 24 hourIts been a while since Ive treated my wooden ware, but the oil absorbed well (starting with thin layers). Im happy with my purchase, and so are my spoons and boards, which look nice again.

> 24 hourI used this mineral oil as a degreaser for my painted kitchen cabinets and stainless hood. I rubbed it on then used Dawn to wash it off followed by rinsing with clear water. It worked great. Use a scratch less sponge for tough spots.

> 24 hourUsed this on my cutting board. It looked faded and ugly. I used 100 grid sandpaper and then 180. Applied this twice. Looks amazing. Big difference and I will keep using it as needed.

> 24 hour(See furniture note below) I haven’t done the other side yet, but wanted to share these cutting board results before I forget. I used my nakey fingers to spread the oil so I could better feel for dry spots that might need a little more oil (it washes off hands easily). I recommend starting with a pretty light pour and adding more as needed (a little went a longer way than I’d expected). Looking at others’ beautiful furniture ruined by mineral oil made me curious about what caused the poor results. Before using this or any oils, I recommend a search for “ What You Don’t Know About Oil Finishes Can Hurt Your Furniture.” An incredibly informative article should show up that might deter you from using this type of oil on some items.

> 24 hourThis is such a lifesaver. I had so many wood items around the kitchen that needed conditioning and this did wonders! I used it with a rag and wiped off excess. Let it airdry at least a few hours and looks amazing. Actually started using it on wood cabinets and makes all of them look like brand new with a very small amount.

> 24 hourPerfect solution to rehydrate our Tigerwood cutting board. Apply a liberal amount to one side at a time. We let it absorb on each side over night. Wipe up excess, flip and complete the other side! Viola, finished.!.!
