Greater than one weekThe oil arrived in excellent condition. It has been used the preserve the quality on my cutting boards and wooden utensils. The smell of the oil is slightly different from my former oil but it is still a pleasant odor. I mix melted bees wax with the oil for some products and the spoon butter this produces is excellent for my use. I will recommend this product to anyone looking for food grade mineral oil.

Greater than one weekWe bought this primarily to coat our sauerkraut packer but we liked it so much weve used it on our cutting boards as well. It forms a really good barrier to keep whatever wood utensil/cutting board you put it on well protected. Does not have much of a scent, so you dont have to worry about your food picking up any taste or odor from it. I make wooden toys and Im going to try it on some of them since it isnt harmful if the grandkids happen to taste the toy. A very good product we are very happy with. Will buy again when needed without hesitation.

> 3 dayAfter sanding my butcher block counters w/ 220 grit sandpaper. I wiped it with a damp rag and then left it to dry overnight. Then I just spread the oil on with my hands. Later I gave it a second coat of oil. It looks wonderful. What a difference !! Love my “new” counters !

> 3 dayI purchased a gorgeous cutting board with an engraving on it and the very first day I decided to use a serrated knife. That didnt go over very well, so I immediately bought wood oil to see if that will help the look and feel of the board. Once it arrived I immediately followed instructions and poured the oil on, spread out with a full knife, and waited...and waited...and waited some more. The wood looked better than when it first arrived, and the scratches look more faded now. The look and feel was great, however the oil never really seeped in the way I believe it should have. So eventually I had to gently wipe the excess off (this was after 5 days). Also since I had certain pockets and an outline in the board, the oil just kind of sat in there, so it was difficult to get it out as well. Overall I really like the product its easy to put on and does a great job highlighting the wood plus restoring it. However I just now know that there are some extra steps at the very end there.
