> 3 dayIts nice and thin, so you need to be a tetch careful in pouring it out. But it soaks in well. I warmed the utensils in the oven on the lowest (170°) setting for a bit, slathered them with the mineral oil, and popped them back in the oven, which was now turned off. Soaked in well, and I did a second round, same way, just to make sure they were well protected. Zero smell to the stuff which is a bonus, and easy to use. Great purchase!

Greater than one weekI used this for a cheese cutting board. Three applications works best spread over three days. Make sure to use rubber gloves when applying. Ive never used mineral oil before, but it seemed to do the job.

> 3 dayIve never really used mineral oils on my cutting board and Im not sure whether its to protect the wood or keep contaminants from the woods pores. It was an instruction on the label of my new huge cutting board, so I perused Amazon and found this that will ship immediately with good reviews. I did as instructed on my new board and it still looks new. It was easy to apply and it dried as it said on the instruction. I also used it on my old cutting board and it wiped away the scratch and cut marks.

> 3 dayI purchased the CuttingBoard.com Mineral Oil to treat my new Oxo wooden spoons, cutting board, and butcher block. Firstly, I’ll say you absolutely want to purchase a food grade mineral oil. If you haven’t use a product like this in the past, most of the things you’ll treat will be associated with food. Neatly, the application process is very simple. You’ll want to coat the utensil or item with a small amount of oil (and this bottle will last years, even with regular applications). Wipe off excess, let dry for 4ish hours, and again wipe down. This product works great! It will protect and repair items. It will protect from premature cracking and splitting which is common for wood products. It will also repair cosmetically and restrain the wood to a nice finish. I rate this a perfect 5/5! Thank you for reading and rating my review!

> 3 dayI have never had a wood board before. When I learned that I would need to use mineral oil on my board, I was unsure of which brand to purchase. I am glad that I chose this one. I appreciate that this product does not have a scent, spreads well across the wood board, and is easy to clean off my hands. The wood absorbed the oil with no residue left behind. I will be purchasing this again when needed.

> 3 dayDidn’t know there were differences in mineral oil. Had some old mineral oil I used for my sink. I needed to season my wooden chopping board and didn’t want to use the old stuff, wanted something safe. This product is safe, and works very well, even used it on the soapstone sink! Very pleased!
