> 24 hourI work for FedEx where we drive big metal ovens with no A/C or fans. Received this as a gift from prime day and used it during the recent NW heatwave (108F+ for 4 days). The fan is nice, while its only blowing the same temperature air that its pulling in, it still keeps the heat radiating off your face blown away with a nice breeze. Allowing your body to cool down instead of simmering in the heat your exerting making you even more hot. The fan lasts on the medium setting for around 4 hours with sporadic use of the cooling plate when I get too overheated, might last 5 without the plate. The cooling plate does get cold almost immediately although the electronics seem to heat up a bit in the back after prolonged use and seems to effect how well the plate works after a long hot day. Cannot use while charging, it wont turn on, but it charges fairly quick, havent timed it. Saw some comments about the fan pulling out beard hair. That is not the case, what happens is your hair occasionally works its way into a seam in the plastic and gets stuck, if I keep the fan snug around my neck it usually doesnt happen. Overall it does a good job of keeping your body temperature lower even on the hottest of days, but not worth the price tag. A neck fan with a cheaper price tag without the cooling plate would do almost as good.

> 24 hourI have a health condition that makes me intolerant to heat. I live in a southern state, and being outside for even a minute in the summer can make me feel dizzy and weak. A few more minutes outside will make my skin turn bright red and feel like it’s burning. Even the heat from bright sun through the car window will affect my face. I bought the Torras Coolify on Prime Day, and I’m so glad I did. While I haven’t tried it outside for extended periods of time yet, it makes running errands much more bearable. I use the a/c (cooling plate) feature before the car’s a/c kicks in, then I switch to just the fan when my car is cool enough. I turn the cooling plate back on when I need to exit the car. It lasted about 4 days worth of errands and short walks outside before I needed to recharge it. I know there are versions without the cooling plate, and to me it is worth the extra money. Otherwise, the air blowing on your face is just room temperature.

> 24 hourOverall this thing was awesome, but its not made for extreme heat. Was wearing it at the Grand Canyon and thirty minutes in the left fans went out. Even with just the right side working and the cooling mechanism on the neck, it was still a life saver. I didnt see any other reviews for it where a fan went out, so I think it might be just mine. I love it though so Im just exchanging it. Four stars because even though the fans went out, it still gave me some huge relief.

> 24 hourI put it on and in just a few seconds the air became cool and refreshing it became quite cold on the back of my neck and I no longer felt hot Great way to cool down on hot humid days and nights well worth the decent price.

> 24 hourEdit* I give the company 5* for their customer service. I messaged them to ask for assistance given how much we spent and the fact the fan broke after 8/9 months. They were very helpful and sent us a replacement. If the new fan lasts more than the last one I’ll change the rating to 5*. Bought this and loved it at first. Less than 6 months of use and it was “loud” yet still worked. Now two months later it’s so loud you can’t use it. Waste of money and for the amount it cost I’d expect more from a product.

> 24 hourI was thinking about returning this, but after using it today I realized I really do like it and the battery life is pretty long. The only thing when the packaging came in the plastic was over the box, but it wasn’t on the case and I didn’t get my little sleeve bag to keep it protected but I really do like it so I’m gonna keep it but I wish I would’ve got my little sleep protector because it cost $149 plus tax. I feel like this one was one that they already had sent back.

> 24 hourThis product has three fan speeds, all being what I would consider acceptably quiet, but a bit louder than I expected. Seems to work well, Ive only needed it a couple of times so far this year, as its only early May. I had a minor customer service issue that was resolved super quickly and satisfactorily by a terrific representative named Jacky. They were super responsive and eager to help.
