Perfect for cooling down after exercising or walking along the Vegas strip - air flow on 3 speeds is great and really appreciate the A/C section at the back of the neck. However, its not actually a mini air conditioner because the air that the fans blow is whatever air is around you - so if its warm air, you will get warm air and if cool air, then it will blow cool air. I was hoping for cold air in a warm/hot area. - but not so. However, the A/C portion is a small strip on the next band which lays on your neck and turns nice and cold - so that is the A/C for the unit. Love that the air flows from the the sides of the unit as opposed to one section at the bottom, like most of the fans. Also love that my hair does not get caught up in the blades, like has happened with other fans rendering them useless afterwards. Frankly, I would have given this 5 stars if it were truly a portable AC unit and if it didnt vibrate so much on my collar bone when on the 2nd and 3rd speed settings, but it certainly runs a close 2nd.

I live in Az! I will give u my opinion. I did my test during 110° dry heat & 105° with 45% humidity & inside house @ 77°. I bought this device because I work outdoors in extreme weather conditions. This does its job cooling the back of your neck in my test, sometimes it was to cold. If its not positioned right then it wont work well so yes I have to move it frequently while working and sweating to get the full affects. The fans, 1 on each side, draws the ambient air through and out the top and bottom but the bottom slots get plugged by my shirt most of the time so the air travels through the top more. So yes when I was testing @110° it was blowing hot air on my face but better then no breeze at all and I like a breeze past 100°. Fast charging!!! Run time is true, and I dont use level 3 much but very quiet for a device like this on your neck. I bought this device for outdoor use, I dont use indoors but it works great. I dont use while in dusty conditions because it will just blow more dust on your face. Overall Im impressed with the technology and price. It has room for improvement but thats a good thing. There is a new version but I think I prefer the cold on back of neck instead of sides and didnt need the heating part. So I purchased this style and will continue to use it for what it was designed for. Thanks.

The good: This thing is honestly not like any other neck fan you can buy. I read a lot of reviews before deciding to buy this and Im really not disappointed. It was a little on the expensive side but I can definitely see why. I bought it for my husband to use while wearing a mask at a comicon. I have also found myself using it on lots of other occasions. Especially on airplanes, mowing lawn, and while I wear costumes at conventions. If I can get by with it matching my costume, I will absolutely wear it. But otherwise I just have it in my bag for when Im feeling particularly overheated. The cooling pad function on the back is particularly nice even if it is only for 20 minutes bursts. I recommend this to anyone who gets overheated easily and just needs the extra airflow and would prefer to be cooler. It really makes wearing a mask about a hundred times easier in the summer. The Bad: After about 30 hours of use, one of the fans started to get a buzzing noise. Overall: Overall I still very much recommend this neck fan. The plate on the back is totally invaluable. Nothing else Ive ever tried was anywhere near this good. So I say buy it if youre on the fence. Like my review if you found it helpful. :)

So the people that complained about this are nuts. I’m a nurse and run around all day long. My face and neck get hot and then I get sweaty especially with a mask on. Wish I knew about this long ago. So it isn’t going to AC your whole body. If you are expecting that don’t buy it. But since I have purchased a cheaper neck fan in the past I noticed the back of the neck would get really hot making me hotter. In steps this product. The cold spot on the back of neck was a game changer. My only complaint is I wish it would stay charged longer, BUT with it on high and the cold spot it does last the full two hours and it does charge quickly. So it does what it says! Worth every penny!

I am a real sweater when it comes to being outdoors as a single LAK amputee! Along with just the fact that Im an amputee and take many meds that cause me to sweat profusely, this device has been a real Godsend. The cooling bar really works as advertised and the battery life is longer than I expected. I can even go for a few days and not have to recharge it, even if Ive used it numerous times a day! This is kind of expensive, as far as neck cooling fans, but I think its worth every penny. The ONLY thing that I dont really like is the fact that the charging port is on the underside of the device. The manufacturer needs to find a way to put the port on the SIDE of the device so that you can just lie it down normally, instead of turning it upside down.

I bought it for my wife, she absolutely loves it. But the battery life seems short. We were at our sons baseball game which is about 2 hours. And it shut down before the game was over. I have something similar but cost way less and mine was running perfectly fine. And mine was same concept neck cooling plate and vent around the neck band.

My husband rolls his eyes every time I get something like this but boy did he have to eat some crow! I suffer from hot flashes throw this around your neck and it is a life saver. We also live in the Deep South very hot and humid and some days we work in buildings with no air and have used these little portable air conditioners the last few weeks and even my rolling eyes husband said “These make a huge difference.” Hubby has been showing these off to clients, neighbors and friends and everyone he shows said they are getting one. The cooling plate on the neck is something really special, cooling just the back of your neck really helps cool down your entire body. I will say I have long hair and the portable air conditioner has tried to suck in my hair but it was not bad, did not rip my hair out I just have to make sure my hair stays behind my shoulder while wearing or a clip would be perfect. *Note the case in the picture is a separate item and is not included with the portable air conditioner.

I purchased this in March based on a friend having one that felt great! I tested it upon receiving it worked great left it in the box until last week when the temperature would be 90 plus degrees daily. Upon trying to turn it on it wouldnt so I thought the battery was dead. I charged it tried it again it wasnt turning on I realized the button was stuck. It cooled great for the first 20 to 30 minutes then the air got warm. So I turned it off for a few hours tried it again it was still blowing warm basic fan air and will no longer work on the highest setting. Reached out to support and theyre asking me for a video to prove it doesnt cool. What kind of video proves that? Will not purchase again from this company! Its not worth the risk! $150 for something that didnt even work twice is like throwing money out of the window. UPDATE!! I did get in contact with support the issue was there was a misunderstanding. They did send out a replacement the very day once they realized there was an issue with the button. The new one has a good working button and fan. I do now realize that it will never because cold as I hoped for because of the humidity in Texas. But that neck cooling unit is like magic! I would recommend this item.

Purchased this for an upcoming trip to Disneyworld, which is many times hot and super humid. Loads better than the plastic fan-on-a-string that weve used the past 6 years at the parks. Purchased 4 of them (1 for each family member). Like that it has 3 fan settings, the super cold back of the neck cooler, and has no moving blade. I have long hair and it was not an issue, another plus. Well have to see how it works, if the battery life lives up to the description and how well it works in the Florida heat. Updates to come...
