Perfect for cooling down after exercising or walking along the Vegas strip - air flow on 3 speeds is great and really appreciate the A/C section at the back of the neck. However, its not actually a mini air conditioner because the air that the fans blow is whatever air is around you - so if its warm air, you will get warm air and if cool air, then it will blow cool air. I was hoping for cold air in a warm/hot area. - but not so. However, the A/C portion is a small strip on the next band which lays on your neck and turns nice and cold - so that is the A/C for the unit. Love that the air flows from the the sides of the unit as opposed to one section at the bottom, like most of the fans. Also love that my hair does not get caught up in the blades, like has happened with other fans rendering them useless afterwards. Frankly, I would have given this 5 stars if it were truly a portable AC unit and if it didnt vibrate so much on my collar bone when on the 2nd and 3rd speed settings, but it certainly runs a close 2nd.

It works well; battery life is sufficient. The weight is sufficient (any lighter, & it might slide around while I’m in motion), but I think it’s priced too high!

I live in the California desert and was looking for some relief. Being a recent cancer survivor, i have issues with sweat attacks or severe cold sensitivity. This neck AC fan has a lot of wind power, more so when i have found in other models. What it does , it dors well but if its enough is up to the individual. After care supprt is very good though. I prtsonally am looking forard to v 3 for sure.

I would like to return this item as it did not accomplish even a 10% threshold of what the description reports thus unit can do. I regret making this purchase and this company has disables the return feature somehow. Ive never written a bad review before but this time I am and it is well deserved/ Update ... Torras staff Andrew reached out to me with genuine concern for my troubles. I feel much better about Torras as a responsible company that cares for its customers. This device, the concept of it is so cool snd has so much potential and I feel Andrew and Torras Company need our feedback snd also our encouragement to take these ideas which are brilliant snd make a Super version of the cooler unit ... Im hopeful they will .. in the meantime I beleive Torras will figure out something that works for my return of unit and Im happy with this .. Thank you

Edit* I give the company 5* for their customer service. I messaged them to ask for assistance given how much we spent and the fact the fan broke after 8/9 months. They were very helpful and sent us a replacement. If the new fan lasts more than the last one I’ll change the rating to 5*. Bought this and loved it at first. Less than 6 months of use and it was “loud” yet still worked. Now two months later it’s so loud you can’t use it. Waste of money and for the amount it cost I’d expect more from a product.

Its great when it works but the battery does only last 2 hours max. The fans are not bad, mild breeze but it just blows hot air on you if its too hot, its sucking in hot air after all. Dont use this if you have facial hair, it keeps catching on beard hairs. The neck cooling plate is great but small. Runs 30mins at a time. I would buy it again but not unless its on some form of large sale. At least 40% off. Not bad, easy to charge comes well packed and looks smart. Just a bit hot where I live to be that effective... (30 to 36°C so around 90F). Really light weight, charges relatively quickly.

I work for FedEx where we drive big metal ovens with no A/C or fans. Received this as a gift from prime day and used it during the recent NW heatwave (108F+ for 4 days). The fan is nice, while its only blowing the same temperature air that its pulling in, it still keeps the heat radiating off your face blown away with a nice breeze. Allowing your body to cool down instead of simmering in the heat your exerting making you even more hot. The fan lasts on the medium setting for around 4 hours with sporadic use of the cooling plate when I get too overheated, might last 5 without the plate. The cooling plate does get cold almost immediately although the electronics seem to heat up a bit in the back after prolonged use and seems to effect how well the plate works after a long hot day. Cannot use while charging, it wont turn on, but it charges fairly quick, havent timed it. Saw some comments about the fan pulling out beard hair. That is not the case, what happens is your hair occasionally works its way into a seam in the plastic and gets stuck, if I keep the fan snug around my neck it usually doesnt happen. Overall it does a good job of keeping your body temperature lower even on the hottest of days, but not worth the price tag. A neck fan with a cheaper price tag without the cooling plate would do almost as good.

It was great when it worked, but then it shocked me and stopped working. I was able to reach out for a replacement.

After looking at a ton of neck fans and reading the reviews, I came across this bad boy. More expensive than the counter products by a fair margin but with the active heat sync/cooling on the back of the neck it was worth every single penny! I used it for five days walking around all of the Disney parks and it worked like a champ to keep me cooler and way less annoyed about being all sweaty. Other reviews are correct in that the battery will not last very long if using on full blast with cooling constantly. My solution to that was to bring a power brick with me and every time I was in a ride line that FINALLY made it from outside to inside, I just plugged that sucker in and let it recharge for the next run/walk to the next looooonnnng ride line. Seriously saved my kids and companions from dealing with me being a huge grouch! Worth the price! Bring a battery pack to recharge when not out in the heat.
