Testing 1: So far so good. They are 100% better than the neck fans, I can honestly say that, the force of the fan win top and bottom are great kinda loud even on the lowest level. The cooling at the back of the neck does actually cool that you can feel, but, yes there is a but. The battery, motor that drives the fan and cool this device is on the outside of the cool plate that touches your neck, and it gets warm, not hot, but warm so when you tilt your head back you feel the warmth of the battery. I have not tried it on one of those days when you go outside and the heat almost takes your breath, I just got them today. So stay tuned for future updates. Testing 2: I must have to say that in testing #1 I mentioned that the battery gets warm, but in day 2 of my test, it does get warm but I am looking past that and taking it out of the equation. I was hot and sweating and I had on one of those neck fans that hang on a string, and it was not getting the job done so I grabbed my COOLIFY, and the difference between is night and day. It is not weighty around my neck, actually if not for the wind blowing cooling my upper and lower body I would almost forget that I have it on. The battery life is good, I havent timed it yet, that and value for the money is for day 3, but I can tell you now that this will be money well spent, after todays use.

The best money Ive ever spent. I wish i wouldve realized this years ago. It worked great. Nice and light. Charge lasts enough for my day. Ready to charge. Very light. Did not irritate my neck. It felt so good!¡!!

Im a postal worker in California, and the days are quite hot, I tried this item out I am not impressed with it.. I would have to say its not designed for continuous use in hot environments. I had it fully charged and it lasted about 2 hours on the highest fan speed. It did get cool but the cooling kept shutting off after some time. The device would emit 1 beep. I will be returning it as its not worth $160. Update im still pondering returning it, but I used it on medium power and it lasted longer. And cooled more efficiently. Stand by for further updates. Update 2 I have decided to keep it, it works great on medium power and lasts about 4 hrs. It does bring relief when its hot. But to be fair it doesnt do well at Temps 104 and up.

So I have used my new coolify for about 3 weeks now in very hot humid conditions. I do lawn care so I put mine to the test. The first use it was very hot 93 degrees plus humidity was high. I had it on cool mode with fan on high. The battery died when I finished mowing on my lawn tractor which took about an hour 45 minutes. The next day it lasted over 3 hours using cool mode medium fan. The 3rd experience it was cooler outside and cloudy so I used mainly fan mode medium speed and cool mode while trimming. I tried mowing without it after using it and there is a big difference. Although I didnt feel like I was in house ac as some seem think this would or should when they think air conditioning....this does keep neck cool and just in fan mode keeps air moving on sides of your head. I do wish the battery lasted alot longer but it is way better then I even expected. One thing is I wish there was some sort of way to keep it more firm around neck as way u move doing lawns it tends to slide to the side and have adjust now and then. I do like it and may purchase one or 2 in future so I have a couple charged up ready to go lasting all day. Longest it lasted me was about 5 hours on a charge alternating could mode and fan only no higher than medium speed

I purchased this because we planned a trip to Florida in July. I run really hot all the time and I needed something to help with the heat and humidity. A previous commenter mentioned it’s not helpful in the outside heat and I have to agree. Walking around in 90 heat, the fans didn’t help but the cooling plate did a little (which is better than nothing). It was most helpful when we would go into a store, enter an indoor ride line or a restaurant. Granted, there was air conditioning in these places but even I don’t cool off in air conditioning, it takes me a lot longer than the average person to cool down so it was really helpful. It was super light weight and comfortable to wear. It’s quiet too on the lower settings. It fit in my crossbody bag. Be careful, twice the power button must have been hit inside my bag and turned on for i don’t know how long. The battery never died while using and I used it a lot. Since I’ve been home, I used it once already just around the house. I’m keeping it, I love it.

As others have mentioned, I really wanted to like this and thought it would be helpful to me in my job with the USPS delivering mail and mostly Amazon packages. I loved it initially and it seemed to work as advertised. This appeared to be a big step above the cheap, portable fans that users wear around the neck. It worked great in the beginning around the house (air conditioned, duh!) and outside on my patio in the shade but when I took it to work yesterday it was truthfully an epic failure on multiple levels. Keep in mind I live and work outside in the South and this is July. I also deliver while driving a vehicle without air conditioning and nothing but a small fan that helps very little. Yes those familiar white mail trucks everyone knows so well have no air conditioning and are brutally hot inside in Summer in the South. If your vehicle has ever lost AC in Summer then you know how miserable that can be and most people get it repaired immediately. Unfortunately I have no such option. Regardless, I expected more from this product especially for the greatly increased price vs. most of the “regular” wearable neck fans now advertising on Amazon and in the marketplace. You might say that my test of this product was conducted in extreme conditions which would be a valid point and tough to argue as it must get well over 120 plus degrees in the vehicle when it’s 90 degrees or higher outside. I used the fan on the highest speed with the cooling metal plate turned on which offers the most cooling effect but also results in the shortest battery life. It lasted just short of the advertised 2 hours on the highest setting. This product may work just fine for someone just sitting outside or not working up a sweat exercising but the technology just doesn’t live up to the hype yet at least for this guy. Someone will find a way to make a true portable, wearable air conditioner someday and that will truly be a game changer but today is not that day sadly.

I would like to return this item as it did not accomplish even a 10% threshold of what the description reports thus unit can do. I regret making this purchase and this company has disables the return feature somehow. Ive never written a bad review before but this time I am and it is well deserved/ Update ... Torras staff Andrew reached out to me with genuine concern for my troubles. I feel much better about Torras as a responsible company that cares for its customers. This device, the concept of it is so cool snd has so much potential and I feel Andrew and Torras Company need our feedback snd also our encouragement to take these ideas which are brilliant snd make a Super version of the cooler unit ... Im hopeful they will .. in the meantime I beleive Torras will figure out something that works for my return of unit and Im happy with this .. Thank you

Yes I am a little upset at paying $150 for one that acts exactly the same as the $35 one! If you get the fan really cold to begin with meaning a metal plate on the back of it that touches your neck… Then it works a lot better and it’s actually cold… But otherwise it moves air just like all the rest of them do… I bought a $35 one to begin with and then bought this one to see if it was any better and apparently I like wasting my money lol that does it mean I won’t use it because I will … I live in South Texas where it is so hot and humid it’s necessary that’s for sure but I would never never pay $150 for it again!
