This neck fan stopped working on one side and I had only had it for 7 months (outside of the warranty). I contacted the company and all they could offer me was 10%off of the new version which cost a whopping $250. But dont tell anyone because thats an employee discount that they are not supposed to shared with anyone. NO SIR, NO THANK YOU, I WISH I WOULD GIVE YALL ANOTHER RED CENT. Only for it to brake a year later. IM GOOD. This neck fan is very heavy around the neck but that didnt bother me, only until the battery died. Then it made me even hotter. The air blows up your neck and the sides of my face. It was not as effective as the neck fans that blows air towards my face. The cooling system is nice but kills the battery, after that, the fan is useless (4hrs tops). If you dont have the huge, bulky case to store the fan in, you can risk breaking it. Its not ideal for someone who does not have a desk job that can easily access the case at all times, once the battery dies. The fan last longer if you dont use the ac part, but once the fan dies (6hrs), it feels like a hot heavy weight being carried around the neck. So if you dont have the case on your person, you have to choose between wearing the hot weight around your neck or risk breaking it. Its a nice concept but its too delicate and too expensive for what you get compared to cheaper neck fans. I still have no idea why one side of mine stopped working. All I wanted was a replacement, since its been last than a year. But I will not buy another.

Had this item for several months , and satisfied with its performance , i was sitting in the airport and it fell off my lap as i was sitting , not a long drop and it broke in half . For a $160 item I would think it was more durable , perhaps it was just the angle. It was past the 6 month return policy and I wrote a not so good review, I contacted Amazon and a customer service representative sent me a new and Torras contacted me willing to help fix this issue. overall very impressed with them standing behind this product

I have this on as Im typing this on its LOWEST setting and Im having a challenge to be able to share my experience with this product. Where have you been all my life? I cannot express how much of a game changer this product is for people like me who are always hot no matter what the situation is. This is one of the few instances where the whole Shut up and take my money! inference applies. POINT BLANK, PERIOD! Buy it, before the creator realize what they have and raise the price....DO IT PINKY!!

I dont have a lot to compare with since I tried this and the Coolify 2. I prefer this over the Coolify 2 since this can open up vs wrapping tightly around my neck like the Coolify 2. The cool plate works well. Its nice ice cold but will definitely cool you with the fan on. I use this while im working in my office when i dont have the AC on. The weight isnt too bad and can be worn maybe an hour or 2 at a time. Overall, I do like even though its priced higher than most neck fans on the market.

Update: After reading my review, Torras reached out to me. Gwen, the customer service representative, went out of her way to make sure I was satisfied and stayed in touch. She is a big asset to your company. Giving a straight forward and honest review, Im not sure about this neck fan/ac unit. While the fan blows at a moderate pace, I cant say much about the cooling/ac aspect. While the plates does get cool (I would even say cold) this unit does not keep me cool. I would say that this unit is a little over rated and a lot over priced. I think I could have gotten the same results from a similar unit which is priced much, much lower.

It works well; battery life is sufficient. The weight is sufficient (any lighter, & it might slide around while I’m in motion), but I think it’s priced too high!

Helps prevent heat stress on hot days. Battery only lasted appropriately 3 hours. Would have been 5-star is it lasted longer.

This thing has literally been a lifesaver. It has kept me able to work through many a hot summer day, even though my work does involve conditions that it is not recommended for. Humorously enough, my few complaints are not related to perceived flaws from using it outside its recommended parameters but from issues with compatibility with my face: I have a beard. It is a beard grabber. The fans have a tendency of drawing in my beard and tugging hairs. Nothing too bad, but enough to be annoying at times. The second issue is that it does not come apart easily. Since tangled beard hairs can jam the fans and bog down the motors, I periodically need to pop open the chambers to clean it out. Needing to preform said maintenance doesnt bother me. However, the process of doing so does. The only way to do this is to remove the aluminum guards, typically resulting in warping said guards in the process. I hope future models take cleaning and maintenance to mind and have guards that can be screwed off. Other than these beard-based issues, this product is stellar. Battery life is enough to get me through my eight hour day if I ration the power well, it is light enough not to strain my neck, and its held up after a year of doing landscape work. I would readily recommend it to anyone who simply needs to cool down a couple degrees.

I was stoked to have this for a recent trip to Nashville. It did well on the flight on Sunday and dealing with the insane heat and humidity of Nashville in July on Sunday night. Monday I put it on to wear around the conference at the Gaylord and by the middle of the day the right side stopped working and just got insanely hot. I tried to wear it just for the left side to work but I was honestly afraid the right side was going to catch on fire it was getting so hot. Thank God I brought my As Seen on TY Arctic fan for backup or I would have melted that week.
