Greater than one weekIt’s a little complicated to set up the software, but works great!

Greater than one weekIts a lot bigger in real life but Im definitely not disappointed. Its probably the most powerful single AP Ive ever owned. Its not as option heavy as something like merlin for asus but it has every option I need and then some. I currently run it direct from the AP. I will try their omadasdn soon but probably from a VM. All in all an excellent choice but I hope to find a POE injector for 2.5G soon cause I would like to ditch the power brick for a cleaner installation.

> 3 dayI got this access point to extend my wireless signal to my garage. It is hardwired to my ethernet network and runs on POE power. The setup was extremely simple using my cell phone for the setup. You have to have your setup device (cell phone or laptop) on the access points network during the setup, so using a desktop hardwired computer for the setup is not practical. The signal in my garage is very strong, and I like that I have separate networks for 2.4 and 5 GHz signals. I tried to login to the access point on my desktop computer once the installation was complete, but I still couldnt do so. I entered the IP address for the device in a browser and got to the username and password screen, but the access point would not authenticate my login from the desktop; that is a bit of a bummer and makes administration a bit of a pain when I have to use my phone.

> 3 dayI purchased this for my home. I am no stranger to network infrastructure as that is my profession so this was very easy to setup and get working. Plenty of options for tweaking where needed. The WiFi signal could be a big stronger, I have seen other models from TP link perform better through drywall than this device but setup in a proper mesh environment and there is no issues. One of the cons I can say is thag I do need to reboot this device about once a month because WiFi will just drop and come to a crawl but after reboot it works perfectly fine.

Greater than one weekWas very easy to set up with Omada Router, switch, and controller following several videos on line. I have an old house with lots of dead wifi areas and this setup fixed it. can get full signal anywhere in the house or yard. Have manufactureres considered making an access point that looks like a decorative clock? a huge sunflower (for example) would make it blend in so much better.
