Ubiquiti UniFi Cloud Key (UC-CK),White

This is older and arguably out of date technology. It was a replacement that does not seem to work as well as the original with respect to remote operation. I suspect it is not the product so much as the firmware/software recently released.

Takes a little skill. But really a great product. Using with the Access Points, and NVR / Cameras

purchased a slew of other ubiquiti UNIFI products. everything works great. No issues. I would call this the poor-mans meraki.

Exactly the product I was looking for at a reasonable price. If you have a UniFi WiFi network, it keeps statistics and helps you manage your network. You can run the same software on Mac or PC if you leave it running continually. I didn’t want to do that hence CloudKey.

Purchased this and updated to latest firmware as per customer support for a problem of going offline randomly throughout the week. Were still experiencing issues keeping this thing online and working. The WAPs are amazing, work great, its just this cloud key works whenever it decides to. I think were going to just move to the cloud service instead.

If I could return it, I would. Not as described and very hard to setup.

Unifi keeps adjusting the firmware but this key is under powered and keeps crashing.

This works GREAT for remote WiFi site control.

I bought it together with Ubnt Switch to be used as my unifi controller. I had the software installed in my Synology for some years but had some concerns related to a third party developer that always had to create the package and wait for the updates. Also to save energy I had started to shutdown my NAS on some periods. So based on that I prefer to have this clean solution using the PoE connection of the switch.

Great product if you cant be bothered running the UniFi Controller software on your own machine or dont have the resources. Unlucks the true power of the UniFi Configuration and Analytics Platform.
