> 3 dayI had an OLD computer with a lot of data & records BUT still worked...I got and i5 desktop for speed and use but did not want to get rid of OLD FAITHFUL... this adapter is great .. I have one monitor, keyboard and speakers attached to each desktop, by using a riser my desktop fits under the riser and there is no space issue. I am soooooooooooooo happy, and installation is nothing, just plug-in for the connection.

> 3 dayThis switch is about as simple as anyone could make it. Im currently using a Linux desktop pc along with a small tower which houses several virtual machines along with a network simulator that runs on Windows only. This switch comes with the needed USB cables, but you will need to supply your own VGA cables. Configuration time is only long enough to plug in the cables - nothing else is needed. Im very pleased with this purchase.

> 3 dayAt the beginning, I thought its not working. And I was upset. After 15 mins, I realized that I didnt connect the other wire to the second laptop. LOL, thats why it can only connect to 1 laptop at the beginning. Works well!

> 3 dayOk - its only been one day, but wow am Impressed. I was expecting issues, flakey behavior, compatibility issues, etc.... Its been flawless from the start. Easy to set up, no conflicts. I needed a solution to sharing my wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse with my work laptop and home PC. I have a Dell Laptop with a Dell docking station. I recently purchased two monitors with two inputs each and have these working well. I was swapping my wireless combo mouse and keyboards when I switched from my Laptop to my PC - thought there was a better way and there is. I bought this KVM switch for a very good price, it delivered in one day. I used the included USB cables plugging one from the KVM to my PC and other from the KVM to my Dell docking station and then removed my Logitech USB receiver from my PC and inserted it into the KVM unit. To eliminate any potential issues, I also removed my Logitech (for my other keyboard and mouse) from my laptop - and trust me, I did not expect it to work - at least not without tweaking things, installing drivers.... but amazingly everything worked seamlessly. Ive switched from laptop to PC a number of times and without any issues the keyboard and mouse worked on the selected host each time. I really am impressed, makes life a lot easier! I was concerned because I had not read a lot of reviews that discussed using this device with a Logitech wireless keyboard / mouse combo. One review said it would not work, not sure why. So far, so good. I will update this review if anything changes - as it is today, I highly recommend this device if youre looking to share a keyboard/mouse with two host computers!!

Greater than one weekThe product works beautifully and is very easy to set up. I really like the convenience and ease of switching from one computer to another by touching one button..it delivers. However, you do lose a little sharpness in the appearance. Words appear just a little fuzzy around the edges...very readable but you lose that HD sharpness that I have come to expect. All said and done, I still chose to keep and use it because it is a small compromise.

Greater than one weekI use this for the keyboard and mouse only, to switch between two PCs (so I cant comment on how it works with the monitors yet), but it works great for what I need it for. Theres a little delay, probably about a second, but for the price its pretty good. Its a little bulky and lighter than I thought it would be, but very minor faults imo.

> 3 dayWife is working from home and decided on this unit to go back and forth between her work laptop and her personal one with just a single mouse and keyboard. She is very happy and productive. Just be sure to get TWO serial cables to connect the computers to the box!

> 3 dayThis switch does exactly what I need it to do, which is switch from computer to computer! It’s the easiest thing ever to hook up/install!! It is weird that the button is on top and the USB ports are on the side so it’s harder to place on top of desk.

> 3 daySo, I have one computer I cant part with but it might be dying. And I just recently purchased a new computer. I wanted to be able to set up both computers and use one monitor, mouse and keyboard. I have limited space on my desk and I wanted to keep things neat and tidy. Now, I did have to purchase extra monitor cords and extra USB cords. And I had to purchase a new keyboard because my older keyboard is not connected via USB. After I got all of the cords, I was ready to set everything up. I have to say I was a little nervous because I wasnt sure if it would work. But - it was actually pretty easy to put together. Just followed the instructions and turned everything on. With a push of a button I can now switch between the two computers. I put the one I am not working on to sleep and well ... I am glad I purchased this. I would recommend it. Again - make sure you have basically 3 monitor cords, 2 male/male USB cords and a mouse/keyboard that connects via USB.

> 3 dayI am using this device to move between two different PCs, so I do not have to use 2 keyboard and mice. Device works great. Have not had any issues.
