This case is incredible product and well made. It does take a bit of time to set up the locking mechanism but once set it works very well. Good size for most valuables.

Originally bought the 2.0 but this one is a better size. It fits my glock 19 with 1 mag tightly. In my opinion the 2.0 is a little too bulky but that will fit 2 handguns or 1 with 3 mags depending on what you carry

Lifepod is well constructed and easy to use. Keeps my valuables and firearm secure when travelling or at home. Definitely get the longer security cable accesory. Well worth it. Vaultek really stepped up by announcing a security upgrade kit for the programable button on the inside of the vault. A youtube user pointed out a potential flaw that could allow somebody with the skills to change the program of your security code with a fork. Vaultek took it upon themselves to address the issue and come up with a solution free of charge for their customers. This is the kind of company you want to purchase from. Would definitely recommend them.

Not meant for a quick access. It a great Storage and travel safe. Because it has the latches on either side it’s not quick or silent but if you have kids it’s a great safe. I would recommend using the cable function to attach it so kids can’t move it from the area.

Nice vault, seems very durable and is TSA approved when traveling by airline with your handgun

Here is a little tip when looking at portable safes. Look at how the hinge is constructed and how much room the inside of the safe gives you. Some of the other brands take up about a 1/3 of the inside space with the lock mechanism and batteries. Im not new to vaultek and own a few of their products. They are expensive but their products are that good. After trying a few different safes i keep coming back to this one. Its light weight so super portable. Not to big or small. Built like a tank so im not worried about kids Getting access. Its construction is wayyyy better than a thin steel safe. If you throw this against the ground it will bounce. If you throw a thin wall metal safe usually they bend just enough where they easily pop open. My use for this safe was as a dedicated car safe. After i had it in my hand the possibilities are really endless. This is a car safe/ to work safe/ to school safe/ to lets throw this in our luggage for vacation. Hey, why not on the beach to protect your wallet and phone. Its going to hard to snatch and run when cabled to 3 bag chairs. And really at that point a thief will look for an easier target. So expensive for a plastic safe...yes. Are you going to get your moneys worth...YES.

Solidly constructed. A bit concerned about how easy it might be to pry open.
