Nice safe ro temporarily store small valuables while traveling.

I bought this along with the travel case for a long trip. I wanted to bring my firearm with me. Really happy with this purchase. Likes: The unit feels great, very sturdy and has two locking clips on the sides in addition to the digital lock. Setting up the code was easy, the case that is sold with it fits like a glove and is of great quality. I may buy another just to use as an EDC bag. The lock box will hold a compact handgun and two magazines easily. You can probably get a third in there. When you buy it as a kit with the bag it comes with the locking cable and a lock. These are add on items if bought separately and makes the kit worth the purchase. This get a highly recommend from me.

For anyone reading this an interested in buying this safe, i will be the first to tell you that it is great! You have many storing options and it is smell proof once something is inside. (for those interested in that part) It is very important to know that this safe is not 100% secure. There is a small gap that allows certain items to be inserted into the safe while locked and possibly reset the code while locked WAIT!!! Dont let that stop you because if you buy the foam block (included in my picture) it completely covers the button and makes this process EXTREMELY difficult, but not impossible. This is great for a small gun up to 7.75 inches, the gun you see in mine is the Sig P938 legion and fits well. You may have to cut extra foam off the sides as i had to for a perfect fit but it is worth it. This overall is a great product and is meant for securing items you have with you or in that you have left in your car/ hotel (you know what i mean) for short period of time.

I like to be unbiased and accurate with any reviews I give. If its crap, I say so. But when its a very good product, people need to know so they can choose wisely. This is a very good product. Definitely get the safe WITH the Carry Pack. Super deal. The lifepod is very well made. Exactly what I wanted for travel. Simple to use, light, waterproof, compact and has key to backup any failure of the electronics. Comes with lock cable and the carry pack has an additional lock cable with a combo padlock. Carry pack has numerous zippered compartments and is designed well. Again, just makes sense to get the combo with the pack. Very pleased with the purchase.

I purchased this case to lock my M9 and accessories in. Unfortunately it was too small for the M9 no matter how I positioned it. Additionally, it is very thin making it difficult to fit anything more than paperwork youd like to safeguard. Giving three stars because, while ultimately useless to me, it does seem to have a nice build quality and the programming of the lock was very easy. I ended up purchasing the LifePod 2.0 and everything fit perfectly.

This is a decent small and portable security device if you understand its intended purpose. Its designed to keep kids out, and for car storage of things like handguns where its required by law for them to be stored in a locked container. It is not the most secure device. I of course purchased one exactly one week before the LockPickingLawyer showed how easy it is to open with a fork. Oh joy! I thought about returning it, but Im going to keep it. Thankfully, I contacted Vaultek and they offered to send me an auxiliary device to block the programming button. While I have not yet received this device, Im glad they stand behind their product. Apparently future devices will have updated software that deactivates the programming button when the unit is locked. I would also hope they include the physical device to block the button as well. I intend to use this device to lock valuables up in hotels and when camping and i cant take everything with me (hikes, the beach, etc). For home use, I will use an actual safe (I prefer the Sturdy brand).

Gifted it to my Husband who loved it. Very compact but that’s exactly what we were looking for!

Love the look, feel and security this case provides. The cable that is provided allows you to tether it to anything securely. Highly recommend.
