This heat mat died with less than 2 months of use. I would not recommend this product to anyone !

Easy to install. Reaches temp quickly. We use this for hermit crabs. Helps maintain the humidity and temperature extremely well.

Wish I could say this product worked. It didnt. The heat mat wouldnt warm up a piece of paper. When on it was barely warm to the touch. This was tested by just plugging it straight into the wall without using the thermostat. This was of course after setting everything up and adjusting the temperature and letting the unit run for almost 2 hours and the temperature barely went up one degree above Room temperature. This was checked with an infrared thermometer and by touching it. Very disappointed by this product. It failed on all fronts. Not just the heating pad but the thermostat as well as it didnt even read the temperature properly. The probe was registering almost 90 to 95 degrees and the thermometer and even touching the pad barely registered 82 degrees. Highly disappointed. Wish I could give it no stars.

This is working well for my ball python tub. I have a second thermometer to monitor and it is working really well for its purpose.

I bought his heating pad for a 10 gal hermit crab habitat. It couldnt ever bring the temp up to where I set it so I moved it to my 5 gal crabitat... it cant keep it up to temp either. Very very disappointed. But the adhesive is good and didnt leave any residue when I switched it to the smaller tank.

I set my heat pad to 91F and does not heat up the surface of my tank. With my temp gun it only reads 84F with no substrate in the way, not hot enough for my ball python to digest.

I dont know if I received a faulty heat mat or what but it does not work. My zoo med 8x6 heat mat keeps my other snakes tub perfect (hot spot at 95+) and this one barely above 75 degrees! You get what you pay for I guess though I could save a few bucks, didnt end up well!

Perfect temperature when controlled with a thermostat. It really maintains the proper temperature that we have it set for.

I have no choice in temperature control but it works fine and warms the cage nicely and sticks well to the glass

Ive had a few of these over the past few years. It seems that they changed the way they make them and they now barely get hot, when my older ones would get scorching hot (which i would manage with an Inkbird temperature controller) but Ive had two in a row now that barely get warm to the touch. Not buying these again. Not sure if mine were defective but two in a row doing the same thing tells me something is wrong.
