This fan is amazing. We have one long hallways that spans the distance from one end of the house to the other and this fam actually is so effective that it can blow air and circulate it that entire distance. Yes its actually intended as a single (large) room circulator and it does a fantastic job at that, we can set it on low and it moves the air very nicely and you dont hear anything. Its awesome.

If you need to circulate air in a room? Well this will do it. It’s not huge, but Vornados is never that big. Great fan and if you catch it on sale it’s even better.

If you are looking for a fan that moves a lot of air & provides consistent white noise, youve found it. There is NO rattling. I tried a different Vornado fan that fit my decor but it rattled. They sent me a new one. It rattled. I gave up & purchased this less expensive model that doesnt fit my decor & I am very happy with it. I would recommend this fan to anyone...

I have an older one but it Finley stop working after years and years,I got a new one exactly the same but this new one is much better,I recommend it 100%

APPEARANCE: This is a very classy looking fan. Im sure you realize that this is not something you hear said very often about a fan. It is small enough to sit quietly in a corner without drawing undue attention. It has a vaguely modern look, especially in the chrome and white.The fan rests on a reasonably attractive circular base which sits quietly (even on a wood floor) when in use. The fan pivots on a curved chrome bar that allows it to go from straight ahead to pointing straight up at the ceiling, which would be handy if you wanted to move heated air from a high ceiling back down to the seating level. MECHANICS: The Vornado has the typical swirling front cover which, in addition to the partially sealed box around the blades, and the straight air fins on the back, create the purported Vornado effect. When I first opened the box I thought this fan might be too big for my room (13 x 11) but in fact it is just perfect. And on the low speed so quiet! Its been running steadily 24/7 for 8 months now with no problem. A well designed machine that I can recommend without reservation.

I finally found the one.! I have gone through so many fans that I ended up giving away because the noise drove me crazy. This one is pricey, I know, but it is awesome! I sleep with it next to me on low, it is powerful, but most of all it is so quiet. I’m so glad I bought this. I keep the plastic bag it came with over it when not in use to avoid dust. I was looking for a powerful fan, and the Vornado 660 delivered; however, I will say that some of the reviews make it sound more powerful than it actually is. I would have given it five stars, but I am not completely sure I buy the whole air circulator aspect of the fan, in that it doesnt seem to act as any more of an air circulator than any other powerful fan. That being said, I bought it to use in a room that I spend a lot of time in that is particularly difficult to keep cool because it is upstairs and has floor to ceiling windows on the side of the room where my desk is situated. Ive been experimenting with using this fan to move the air conditioned air around the room in a manner that counteracts the heat coming through the windows. Its been in the high 80s and low 90s in Vegas for the past couple of weeks, and I have to say that the 660 makes a big difference in bringing down the temperature of the room (I believe the AC cycles on less frequently becuase the 660 probably lowers the temperature by a degree or two). The real test will be a month from now, when were at 115 on a daily basis. As for the build quality, its excellent, especially when I compare it to other fans Ive had (although at $100, its exactly the quality I expect), but for the price, a remote would have been nice. In terms of noise, its no more or less noisy than I would expect from a fan this powerful and, while Im not using it in the bedroom, it wouldnt keep me awake, as it produces exactly the sort of white noise that puts me to sleep. Because its in my office, I was afraid the noise might get picked up on zoom and phone calls, but Ive asked people, and they dont hear it. I like it enough to purchase another one for another problem area in the house.

My bedroom is the hottest room in the house in the summertime. I bought one of these Vornado fans for my bedroom in the past. I run it 24 7 in the summer & my bedroom stays cool. I bought this Vornado fan this year to keep in the living room. As long as I do not put it above the 2nd speed, it is super quiet & has the output of other fans on high.
