Item is as advertised. It is well made and easy to use. The metal makes more secure on the trimmer. Also it is east to read the sizes on each since it is stamped in the metal.

The real thing! There’s A lot of “knock-offs” out there and they’re flimsy. Wahl premium guides are sturdy and fits and cuts really well.

Excellent upgrade from the softer poly guides. Clips on nice, hasnt popped off during use, no rattling, provides neater cutting. Cant go wrong.

its brand new when I got it

Perfect fit for my Wahl hair clipper.

I got these to go with my new Wahl 5star Seniors that only came with 1/2, 1, 1-1/2 guard. I finally got to use them yesterday on my kids and they work awesome! They hold very tight, much tighter than the plastic guards that came with the clippers, heck I even had one of the plastic ones pop off (luckily not when I was actually cutting). The metal clips on these guards are clip on nice and firm!

Are solid

These cut and are just overall better than the cheaper colored Wahl guides. They cut and attach to the clipper so much better that I cant see myself ever going back to all plastic ones. The metal clips and stronger plastic sets these apart from the colored guides.

These are the same as the all plastic ones that came with my Wahl clippers. There are two things about these that set them apart from the originals and make them a great improvement. First, they are reinforced with metal at the attachment points. I had two of the original guides become useless when the little plastic tabs that held them on the clipper head got broken. This was the main reason I bought this current set, and although I dont have years of use yet, I dont think the metal attaching clips will be prone to breakage. The other improvement is that the number of the guide is etched into the metal and much easier to see than the one on the all plastic models. Since my wife cuts my hair, we use these a lot. Its a great improvement and well worth the money.

These are so much better than the ones included with the clippers. Everyone mentioned the same but no one explained exactly why. Unlike others, I experienced a much easier time taking these in and out, much easier than the full plastic ones. The metal click gives you a premium feel. These guides are made of a much stronger plastic. Curiously, the plastic is slightly thinner, but once you get to play with them, youll see that they flex less, so you will be getting a much better haircut, with less mistakes. The big problem with the included guides is that they flex with a minimal change in pressure, producing worse results. No problem with these. The metal has nothing to do with the sturdiness as others mentioned, the metal is only for the looks and also to attach them to the clipper, but what makes these ones so much better is the way stronger plastic. I also like the design. At the very little top end of the guides these have a little curve pointing up that allows for better grip of your hair, especially if you are cutting long hair. Very happy with the purchase!
