Great product just wish it came with 0.5 guard and 1.5 guard. Overall recommend

At least with the Wahl Magic Clip that I received, all plastic guide combs do not fit onto the blades - so loose that they almost fall off. While not sure that a Wahl set of combs with metal clips would fit better, I ordered them in hopes of a better fit. Wahl combs with metal clips are a better fit. These metal clipped combs are significantly higher priced than others offered on amazon.com, but I was too unsure that other combs would work.

Barber school gave me an incomplete set of gaurds and I ended up buying these. Solid and the metal clasp is way better than what I was working with before

Works much better than the clips that came with my trimmer, they seem to be a much better made with the piece of metal in each clip for added strength to stop any flexing

I ordered the item and it didn’t contain all the guides, the #1 guide (the one that is displayed at the front of the package) was missing so I returned the item. The second time I bought it, everything was ok, brand new guides with no damage or missing items. I am giving 4 stars due to the incomplete package the first time but it’s a good product overall.

They clamp on a lot tighter than ones without metal clamp..however when your changing guards the black on black on the cradle is time consuming when cutting at a fast pace. I used a Sharpie for the guard because you cant see the silver number on the silver plate..and nail polish on numbers on the cradle. Problem solved. See pic..

Item is as advertised. It is well made and easy to use. The metal makes more secure on the trimmer. Also it is east to read the sizes on each since it is stamped in the metal.

This is a high quality set of hair cutting guides with metal clips that combined with an open and closed blade adjustments should cut most short hair styles. In my case, I am not a trained barber and so I preferred a couple additional guides not offered in this set to help me achieve a military style cut. The short guides with plastic clips can easily pop loose and if you do not notice in time the mistake might ruin your hair cut. In my experience. the longer guides with the plastic clips do not pop loose very often but I still bought the complete set of guides with metal clips to replace all the guides with plastic clips. Why take any unnecessary chances?

Feel very sturdy and secure when I clip them on my clippers. I imagine they will last a very long time.
