I replaced the old original comb guides on my Wahl Sterling 9 clippers with these Premium Professional Cutting Guides. I am extremely happy with their performance. They fit soundly and securely on my clippers and feel much more substantial than the standard combs. I highly recommend these as a necessary upgrade from the standard combs.

The guards are great but I only wish they came with the half guard and the 1.5 guard

These are the same as the all plastic ones that came with my Wahl clippers. There are two things about these that set them apart from the originals and make them a great improvement. First, they are reinforced with metal at the attachment points. I had two of the original guides become useless when the little plastic tabs that held them on the clipper head got broken. This was the main reason I bought this current set, and although I dont have years of use yet, I dont think the metal attaching clips will be prone to breakage. The other improvement is that the number of the guide is etched into the metal and much easier to see than the one on the all plastic models. Since my wife cuts my hair, we use these a lot. Its a great improvement and well worth the money.

They are solid, easy to use and much better than the purple plastic ones I had bought before them(for more or less the same price). They fit much better and the cut is better. Granted they are not as sharp as the stainless steel ones but for the price, you are getting a really good product. I bought the 1/2 and 1.5 separately and well worth it as I use those a lot too. I use them on Wahl 5star

I am not a professional barber but Ive been cutting my hair for years now. These guides are much better than the standard ones. Not sure if they cut any different but the way they fit in the clippers feels much more secure. I am also able to clean these much faster than the standard ones for some reason. Love them, Im glad I finally decided to get them.

Great product just wish it came with 0.5 guard and 1.5 guard. Overall recommend

I previously bought another brand. Clipper was OK, guards flimsy. I broke all guards within a year and couldnt find replacements. I bought two sets for these to make sure I wouldnt run out. That was a mistake... The first set should last years and outlast the clippers. Hoarder much?

I’m giving them 5 stars, the combs are really nice. I was going to return them because I didn’t read the review closely, the combs are for humans and I needed them for grooming. Sellers were totally down but I decided I would gift them.
