When forced into home barbering by the coronavirus pandemic, I needed something that could deliver the same results as #1½ on the sides; #4 on top. This package contains more guides than I can envision using, but they mate well with Wahl clippers and get the desired result. Note that this package does not include the #1½, but I already had one of those.

Ive been using plastic guards for many years and when I tried metal guard, it truly feels good when cutting hair. This guards cuts super better than plain Wahl plastics. Its little bit costly, but super worth it. Since Im a hairstylist, I bought 2 packs for work. Will buy again !!

Ugh. I love these clips for my pro series Wahl but they are a pain to cart around. The case that carries them doesn’t have a lid or securing mechanism so the clips fall out super easy. Every time I move them around I have to spend time sorting and placing them back in their proper spot. That said, the clips themselves work great. Offer a range of sizes not included with the base clippers. They are much sturdier than the standard plastic clips included with the Wahl. Overall I’d still recommend, but if you’re traveling with them prepare for them to fall out. I also wish they included one size smaller but if you have the originals you’ll be good.

Most stores are cleared out of guides so luckily I found these. Theyre made of higher quality polymer and the metal attachment point seems to fix my main issue of the guide cracking at that specific stress point. Get them and you wont regret it!

I love how the guards stay on tight and don’t give me a wiggy feeling with my basic wahl guards. They feel stronger than the basic guards but I don’t like how it didn’t came with a 1/2 and a 1 1/2

Just like other reviews i’m missing the 1 guard, and my package seems to have already been opened. It’s just kind of annoying paying 31 dollars for something that’s incomplete. Other than that the guards seem legit but if I could just get the 1 guard it would be okay.

1. The Professional Premium Guides use steel springs to hold guides in place. My old guides had a plastic catch that tended break, making the set incomplete and useless. 2. The guide sizes are permanently marked on the guides. I had to mark my old all-plastic ones with difficulty. 3. The guides have their unique births in the special storage box, making it easier to find and store the guides.

They seem to be very good quality, they fit nicely. I just wish it came with a 0 guard but its ok, i have one.
