When you buy Wahl clippers they come with cutting guides. Senior comes with #1/2, #1, #1-1/2. This holder has not slots for the #1/2 and and #1-1/2 AND it comes with a #1 that you likely already have from when you buy the clippers. So you still have the same issue, guides laying all over the place.

I’m giving them 5 stars, the combs are really nice. I was going to return them because I didn’t read the review closely, the combs are for humans and I needed them for grooming. Sellers were totally down but I decided I would gift them.

Barber school gave me an incomplete set of gaurds and I ended up buying these. Solid and the metal clasp is way better than what I was working with before

These are great. A step way up from the colored plastic ones. I dont like that you have to buy the 1/2 and 1 1/2 guides separately but what are you going to do. These fit tight and are very sturdy. I use them every day on my clients. I wish Wahl would put together a professional package that had the 1/2, 1 1/2, 1, and 2 blade and that is it. I have never used the 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8. Overall, the best guides I have ever used.

They fit perfectly and came with an easy to read holder for all the combs!

These are the same as the all plastic ones that came with my Wahl clippers. There are two things about these that set them apart from the originals and make them a great improvement. First, they are reinforced with metal at the attachment points. I had two of the original guides become useless when the little plastic tabs that held them on the clipper head got broken. This was the main reason I bought this current set, and although I dont have years of use yet, I dont think the metal attaching clips will be prone to breakage. The other improvement is that the number of the guide is etched into the metal and much easier to see than the one on the all plastic models. Since my wife cuts my hair, we use these a lot. Its a great improvement and well worth the money.

These are good, typical wahl guards. I just don’t like how they were sent to me with a lot of hair on them. I don’t mind used products, but these things were DIRTY.

Ugh. I love these clips for my pro series Wahl but they are a pain to cart around. The case that carries them doesn’t have a lid or securing mechanism so the clips fall out super easy. Every time I move them around I have to spend time sorting and placing them back in their proper spot. That said, the clips themselves work great. Offer a range of sizes not included with the base clippers. They are much sturdier than the standard plastic clips included with the Wahl. Overall I’d still recommend, but if you’re traveling with them prepare for them to fall out. I also wish they included one size smaller but if you have the originals you’ll be good.

They seem to be very good quality, they fit nicely. I just wish it came with a 0 guard but its ok, i have one.
