I was hesitant to pay $30 for these, but after getting them, I dont regret it one bit. These clipper guides are first rate. And to those wondering like I was: yes, they most certainly fit the Surker model K9S (silver) clipper! See attached pics.

The real thing! There’s A lot of “knock-offs” out there and they’re flimsy. Wahl premium guides are sturdy and fits and cuts really well.

Great gaurs

Having been a Master Barber for 32 years you can say I’ve tried everything available in clipper world. As far as I’m concerned Wahl Senior Clippers with the “Professional Black Clipper Guards” WITH metal clips, are my go-to when fading. This along with a Andis t-edger and you will be the king of the fade and line-up. Now go out there and make it happen.

It’s perfect

Awfully expensive for what you get, but I cut my own hair so a couple of cheap cuts and Im even, so worth the money to me Theyre MUCH better than the cheap ones that came with my Wahl clipper and dont come off when trying to cut the back of my head. No complaints on quality.

Always a great quality guard

These are so much better than the ones included with the clippers. Everyone mentioned the same but no one explained exactly why. Unlike others, I experienced a much easier time taking these in and out, much easier than the full plastic ones. The metal click gives you a premium feel. These guides are made of a much stronger plastic. Curiously, the plastic is slightly thinner, but once you get to play with them, youll see that they flex less, so you will be getting a much better haircut, with less mistakes. The big problem with the included guides is that they flex with a minimal change in pressure, producing worse results. No problem with these. The metal has nothing to do with the sturdiness as others mentioned, the metal is only for the looks and also to attach them to the clipper, but what makes these ones so much better is the way stronger plastic. I also like the design. At the very little top end of the guides these have a little curve pointing up that allows for better grip of your hair, especially if you are cutting long hair. Very happy with the purchase!

Great set of guides. I am getting used to the numbers as I had previously used a color coded set. The metal clips are a more solid way to mount so it is a good design. There are no taper guides included, that would make it a 5 star. I use my lesser quality taper guides that I already had.

I should have looked before purchase,. Sizes are from #1. I needed 1/2, 1 , 1 1/2. I returned this and I went to my local barber supply. They sell individual premium guards. That’s all I needed. Try local Barber supply shop.
