My gate is very old and thought I was going to need to buy a new gate. the extender that came with my gate just made the gate even more unstable then I found these and thought Id give them a try. They worked perfectly and made the gate more stable then it has ever been. My gate is at least 10 years old and I expect it to last another 10 years or more now with these great extenders. I now need a set of the ones that protect the wall but doesnt add any extra to the width of the gate. They really do help protect and make the gate more stable so Ill be getting more soon. Thank you for making these they will save me a lot of money since I wont have to buy new gates anytime soon.

I purchased these wall mounts to protect my walls and increase the length of my baby gate and it works awesome! Wish I had found these sooner. The rubber on the ends secures you gate so it doesn’t slip.

In the past I used these to install a gate and was very happy with them. I recently ordered a second set for another gate. The doorway for the second gate was narrower and I could not use all four extenders with the gate I have so I only used two on one side of the gate. It is still secure in a wood framed doorway.

The Nanny extenders work well with our baby gate - so far no marks on the walls and they are holding firmly. Wish there were different lengths to chose from as one of our gates has the base on one side on the base board and on the other side under a kitchen cabinet. We had to add blocks of wood to bring the surface out to meet the Nanny Extender. If you are using a gate for a puppy - the extenders do extend the actual size of opening your gate will fit.....but the result is a larger than normal opening between the wall and the actual gate.....so our puppy quickly discovered access to where she wasnt supposed to go....but in a few weeks shell be too big to fit through, so just a learning lesson for us.

If you need a wide to sort of widen a baby gate without buying an expensive extender these will do. We use a baby gate to keep our dogs from the second floor and our gate (w/these extenders) lives at the top of the stairs. It doesnt feel super stable, but our dogs wont dare lean on or press on the baby gate so... I will likely check the tightness of the gates little adjusters every so often to make sure theres the right amount of pressure. I think in the right wall situation these could be sturdier (Like will these be up against a flat wall as opposed to baseboard/trim?) or if you dont need to extend the gate adjuster thingies out too far. Apparently, our threshold area is super wide? For a tag sale baby gate this will do fine.

We needed a little extra support on the two ends of a dog gate we placed in the hallway. These worked great against the drywall, leaving no marks or damage.

Gate kept needing repositioned with mounting screws fully extended, after adding these extenders our gate is finally sturdy!!!

Had to get some baby/dog gates as we have a new 1yr old puppy and an older dog. didnt like the way the big gate sat so I bought these extenders and they were a perfect buy. They helped stabilize and secure the gate even better than to original foot pads. Would highly recommend these for anyone with gates.

We’re using the Wall Nanny Extender to keep our son out of the kitchen when we cook and clean. After failing to find additional extension pieces for our tall gate (discontinued?) the Wall Nanny Extender did the trick!
