> 24 hourHad to install these in the vertical position, but they work great and solve the issue of my goldens being able to knock their gate down with ease.

> 24 hourI have 2 sets of these in use in my home. I love these, they work great. My doorways are bigger then the usual but not big enough to need the extention of the gate.. so where do you find yourself when trying to get them installed correctly? Then I discovered these and they work great.

> 24 hourThis product would have been helpful to have when our children were younger. We have damage to a wall from a previous gate. This product not only protects the walls, but it narrows the area up to 4 inches, so we were able to spend about $30-50 less on a gate. The only challenge was having to install it above the quarter-round on the floor, so you will need another adult to hold the gate and wall nanny while you secure everything.

> 24 hourWish I had an extra set of hands to install but after a makeshift placeholder on the wall I was able to get them all tightly secured and fixed the wobble in the extra long gate

> 24 hourIf you are like us and only have awkward places to put a baby gate, these make life so much easier. We have 1 on either side of the baby gate at the bottom of our stairs (which has to be put up between the posts of the handrails - there aren’t walls) and 2 on either side of the baby gate leading to our basement and mud room (a hallway that is extra wide). The wall nannies add stability and a few extra inches of width to give the baby gate that you thought was too narrow a chance to work! Before I found these I thought I would have to buy whole new baby gates. These have saved us a lot of money and trouble.

> 24 hourWhile these were very easy to use and install, it also has a bit of sturdiness to them. I’ve given it a 5 star review over all but with this disclaimer. You have a 16 week old Labradane (Lab + Great Dane) puppy that’s 50lbs. When determined to get upstairs, he climbs over. Yet the gate held true with these wall nanny’s. However, When there is a bored 8yo boy that’s grounded from electronics. It will not hold up the punch that a twin mattress and small framed child riding down the stairs like a surf board in Hawaii before a storm.

> 24 hourThese were the cheapest solution to our problem when we moved houses and none of our baby gates fit where we needed them. They saved us from having to buy new gates or full side extenders and seem to be pretty sturdy due to the grip on the back. The only problem we came across is that the walls in our new home are not very square. I purchased the larger size based on my measurements at the bottom of the stairs, but the distance between walls was less at the top (never assume your walls are evenly spaced) so I had to improvise to make it work because I did not want to purchase an additional set in the smaller size.

> 24 hourYou need a lot more than two hands to make this fit; and it is even harder if you have baseboards or mouldings or anything like that that makes the doorway a different width at the bottom than at the top. That said, it is pretty sturdy and stable once you finally get it installed, and it is a great idea for solving the problem of protecting your walls... if you dont tear them up trying to get the darned thing installed.

> 24 hourHad to get some baby/dog gates as we have a new 1yr old puppy and an older dog. didnt like the way the big gate sat so I bought these extenders and they were a perfect buy. They helped stabilize and secure the gate even better than to original foot pads. Would highly recommend these for anyone with gates.
