> 3 dayThis product would have been helpful to have when our children were younger. We have damage to a wall from a previous gate. This product not only protects the walls, but it narrows the area up to 4 inches, so we were able to spend about $30-50 less on a gate. The only challenge was having to install it above the quarter-round on the floor, so you will need another adult to hold the gate and wall nanny while you secure everything.

> 3 dayI should have bought the shorter set. I probably only needed 2” total added. Instead I can only use 1 extender on one side. It would be stronger with 2 1” extenders on either side.

> 3 dayI have been struggling with 3 different types of baby gates to prevent a new puppy from accessing certain areas of my downstairs. Two of the gates that I have installed were barely able to bridge the gaps that they were set in. This resulted in the gates constantly being knocked over when my son tried to open them and the puppy learned that if she ran at them with enough force she could knock them over and have free reign. I bought a set of 4 of the 4 inch wall nannies and my problems were solved. An unexpected bonus was that I was able to take care of two of the gates using only two wall nannies for each gate. These are a great solution to a problem I had struggled with for some time.

> 3 dayThe Wall Nanny worked perfectly for our gate before the wall baby I had block of wood to help keep the gate up it just looked tacky and would constantly move when our 10 month old would pull himself up on the gate. Got the wall Nanny and now feel secure our son will not pull the gate out of place and potentially hurting himself. Highly recommend, Its not cheaply made and doesnt move.

> 3 dayOur baby/pet gate couldnt reach the side walls as it was just a few inches short in each side. The wall nannies were exactly what we needed! Now the gate fits and the walls are protected!

Greater than one weekPerfect for what we needed. Extended the use of the gate to a larger stairway. Easy set up and grippy enough to hold to the wall with tension.

> 3 dayMy hallway was just an inch too small to add the other gate piece but 4 inches too big to install the gate without. These extenders were exactly what I needed to be able to put up our gate. They give an extra 2 inches on either side. So 4 inches all together. Works great. I’ve had to move it and they never damaged my walls when moving them.

> 3 dayI must have the the most uncommon stairway opening because I cannot find a gate that fits exactly in the opening. Either the gate is too big or too small. Even the gates with various extenders do not work out very well. I finally settled on a gate that came close. It came with a 4 and 10 inch extender. 10 inches was about too big by an inch. The 4 inch extenders still left too much space on the sides. These nanny extenders added an additional 2 inches on both sides, so now the gate fits tightly in the opening. Havent had any issues so far. I could easily knock down the gate if I tried, but our baby shouldnt be able to knock this down even with the extenders.
