Ninnas Road to Rescue
> 3 dayI love these new extension Wall Nannys! Ok... so I run a dog rescue. We have gates everywhere! One of my pet peeves is volunteers leaning on the gates causing the screws that lead to the wall to bend. grrrr! The extensions for the gates are too wide... in every gate I purchase... so the screw part is fairly long making it easily bendable. When I found this Wall Nanny with the extension part (by accident I might say)... I was so excited! Now... when volunteers lean on gates... the extension Wall Nanny wont allow it to bend. Love it!

> 3 dayIn the past I used these to install a gate and was very happy with them. I recently ordered a second set for another gate. The doorway for the second gate was narrower and I could not use all four extenders with the gate I have so I only used two on one side of the gate. It is still secure in a wood framed doorway.

Greater than one weekThe Nanny Extenders are very sturdy and easy to use. I ordered the 4. We needed to put up a small gate to keep our new puppy out of the hallway and bedrooms. I could not find a gate the correct size, so I ordered the extensions. As you can see in the photo, I only needed to use 2 of the 4. Without having the extensions available, my only option was to order a gate the correct size that had to be screwed into the walls. These do the job, as my puppy does jump up on the gate, and it has held fast. They do NOT leave any marks or damage to the walls. I would recommend either size even just as protection for your walls.

> 3 dayMy dog used to be able to push the gate over, because I could not set the gate with enough tension. The dog is just too strong. With the wall nanny, the gate doesn’t budge, and my dog can no longer push over the gate. My walls are safe. However, it’s true. It takes two people to install. I did it by myself with more difficulty. Not impossible. Just frustrating. But it’s not a fault of the product itself. That’s just the way it is.

> 3 dayTo get 4 inches you need to have the 2 extenders on the same horizontal line. The quality of the items are very good and solid.

> 3 dayThese were very easy to install, however they do add a few inches which I should have checked (my fault) but I think theyre great and protecting my wall! Hopefully when removed they dont leave marks.. but I wont know until theyre removed in years to come :)

> 3 dayI couldn’t find any extender panels for the baby gate I had. Saw this product and it did exactly what I needed it to, which was to make it sturdier against the wall so it wasn’t so easy to knock over. Pretty easy to install. Good little product

> 3 dayIf you need a wide to sort of widen a baby gate without buying an expensive extender these will do. We use a baby gate to keep our dogs from the second floor and our gate (w/these extenders) lives at the top of the stairs. It doesnt feel super stable, but our dogs wont dare lean on or press on the baby gate so... I will likely check the tightness of the gates little adjusters every so often to make sure theres the right amount of pressure. I think in the right wall situation these could be sturdier (Like will these be up against a flat wall as opposed to baseboard/trim?) or if you dont need to extend the gate adjuster thingies out too far. Apparently, our threshold area is super wide? For a tag sale baby gate this will do fine.

> 3 dayThese extenders were easy to use and stable. The problem is that the gate itself is meant to stand up to a human child, not a German Shepherd. I still think this is a good product but it would be nice if the extenders could screw into the wall. Perhaps they can, but screws were not included and I didn’t want to risk breaking the extenders. Overall a good product though and I’m happy with this purchase.

> 3 dayThese are important to keep the gate from sliding and pulling out when kids hang on it. I used a mixture of the extended Nannies and the small Nannie to create a perfect fit for my gate.
