We’re using the Wall Nanny Extender to keep our son out of the kitchen when we cook and clean. After failing to find additional extension pieces for our tall gate (discontinued?) the Wall Nanny Extender did the trick!

If you need a wide to sort of widen a baby gate without buying an expensive extender these will do. We use a baby gate to keep our dogs from the second floor and our gate (w/these extenders) lives at the top of the stairs. It doesnt feel super stable, but our dogs wont dare lean on or press on the baby gate so... I will likely check the tightness of the gates little adjusters every so often to make sure theres the right amount of pressure. I think in the right wall situation these could be sturdier (Like will these be up against a flat wall as opposed to baseboard/trim?) or if you dont need to extend the gate adjuster thingies out too far. Apparently, our threshold area is super wide? For a tag sale baby gate this will do fine.

The first product I bought Didnt even cut close to want I needed. Im sure that was on me, looking at different products and stirring away from the one I wanted. I bought a 36 inch extender and was considering another 4 inch! I had about 62.5 inches to cover, Ugh I was so short, but I was able to order these 2 inch nanny extenders (4 - 2 top and 2 bottom along with another 36 inch extender w/o a gate and it fit the exact size I needed.) My dog is still a pup ( a naughty one at that) and her head can squeeze thru the edges, its only a matter of time before her head gets too big, if you have smaller dogs, get a other extender to close he gap.

I needed an odd size dog gate for my hallway. The gate I wanted would have been stretched to its limit and the next size up was too wide to fit. Using Wall Nanny gave the smaller gate more stability, because I didnt have to screw out as far to keep the pressure on. It also helps from the gate pressure from marking up my walls. I did have to rig a little wire, because the space from the wall was large enough for my mini dachshund to squeeze through... But she is a little Houdini. Our other animals were contained. I am very happy with this purchase.

The wall nanny extender has been a great help with our baby gate. It was easy to install and helps to keep our walls from getting torn up. We would buy again if needed

We had a gate up in a space that was too large for the normal gate yet too small to fit the gate with the extention that it came with. At first we just used some cardboard to create a spacer to keep the gate in place but then one day things changed... I found these wall nanny spacers and it was just the thing I needed. They were perfect for making the gate fit and it appears the rubber feet wont damage the wall but time will tell. Was a great purchase.

To get 4 inches you need to have the 2 extenders on the same horizontal line. The quality of the items are very good and solid.

I bought a stair gate but was concerned the hardware would damage the wall. I also needed a but more length to mount the gate and these wall extenders protect the wall and made our gate fit perfectly. An added bonus for us was that the greater surface area on these extenders actually produced a more stable fit than the small fittings that came with th gate.

I used this for a pet gate that couldnt fit in a larger doorway, and the Wall Nanny was the answer! Very thankful I didnt have to build a custom gate, or mount anything on my walls.

I bought these to add some width to my baby gate. Looks nice and seems more sturdy.
