> 3 dayGreat for extending a baby gate. The only reason I gave 4 stars was it says 4 inch extension, implying that each side adds 4 inches for a total of 8 inches. It actually only adds 2 inches to each side for a total of 4 inches. I really needed 4 inches on each side. Overall its a good purchase if you need 2 inches on each side.

> 3 dayI must have the the most uncommon stairway opening because I cannot find a gate that fits exactly in the opening. Either the gate is too big or too small. Even the gates with various extenders do not work out very well. I finally settled on a gate that came close. It came with a 4 and 10 inch extender. 10 inches was about too big by an inch. The 4 inch extenders still left too much space on the sides. These nanny extenders added an additional 2 inches on both sides, so now the gate fits tightly in the opening. Havent had any issues so far. I could easily knock down the gate if I tried, but our baby shouldnt be able to knock this down even with the extenders.

Greater than one weekThe Wall Nanny worked perfectly for our gate before the wall baby I had block of wood to help keep the gate up it just looked tacky and would constantly move when our 10 month old would pull himself up on the gate. Got the wall Nanny and now feel secure our son will not pull the gate out of place and potentially hurting himself. Highly recommend, Its not cheaply made and doesnt move.

> 3 dayThese were exactly what I needed. I installed a baby gate in a hallway to keep our new puppy contained. The gate didnt come with an extender piece and the threaded spindle rods holding the gate tight against the wall were stretched to their limit. I used 4 of these (one on each spindle) and they are working wonders. The gate is now a tight fit and the spindles are not screwed out so far. The extenders grip the wall and baseboard very well, they prevent damage and keeping the gate firmly in place.

> 3 dayI purchased this product because i purchased a gate for my dogs. The extenders were very practical and very easy to install. I did not need to drill any screws on my walls. And the diameter of the circle is perfect for small or large screw heads. Great value also.

> 3 dayWe used this product with a baby gate at the top of some stairs. The gate wasnt quite wide enough, so this product created a perfect fit and stabilized the gate quite well. I for sure thought that no matter what, this was going to take some paint off the walls. The townhome we live in has what Im going to call, fragile walls. You even look at the paint wrong and it chips off the walls. I just removed the baby gate today and to my surprise there was absolutely no damage to the wall, paint, etc. Great product!

> 3 dayI have an open basement stairway and my gate JUST fit but there was not enough spindle left inside the gate to keep it stable. Added these today and couldn’t be more pleased.

Greater than one weekThis product would have been helpful to have when our children were younger. We have damage to a wall from a previous gate. This product not only protects the walls, but it narrows the area up to 4 inches, so we were able to spend about $30-50 less on a gate. The only challenge was having to install it above the quarter-round on the floor, so you will need another adult to hold the gate and wall nanny while you secure everything.

> 3 dayIf you are like us and only have awkward places to put a baby gate, these make life so much easier. We have 1 on either side of the baby gate at the bottom of our stairs (which has to be put up between the posts of the handrails - there aren’t walls) and 2 on either side of the baby gate leading to our basement and mud room (a hallway that is extra wide). The wall nannies add stability and a few extra inches of width to give the baby gate that you thought was too narrow a chance to work! Before I found these I thought I would have to buy whole new baby gates. These have saved us a lot of money and trouble.

Greater than one weekLoved this! I wanted to purchase one anyways because I heard great things about wall nanny. Come to find out my hallway is wider than the standard baby gate, even with the extender. I came across these wall nanny extenders and was pleasantly surprised! Saved me money and worked like a charm!
