I purchased these Wall Nanny Extenders as I had bought a 1st Pressure Mounted Gate that was about 20cms too narrow & it was impossible to get a 7cm Extension add on for it in New Zealand. These Extenders did the trick. I Super Glued them to the adjusting feet of the gate so it was easy to set the gate up. Once the gate was up & adjusted, the Nanny Extenders spread the load so that there would be no indentations on the plasterboard. The Gate is now set up firmly in the doorway with no sign of movement or slippage off the wall. The Nanny Extenders are well made & are reasonably priced.

These work great! I got gate with an extender and it was still just slightly to small for the opening, these were the best solution! I thought I would have to return the gate and order a more expensive larger one, but these fixed the problem so easily and cheaply! The blend in well with the wall and are sturdy as hell! Thank you!

While these were very easy to use and install, it also has a bit of sturdiness to them. I’ve given it a 5 star review over all but with this disclaimer. You have a 16 week old Labradane (Lab + Great Dane) puppy that’s 50lbs. When determined to get upstairs, he climbs over. Yet the gate held true with these wall nanny’s. However, When there is a bored 8yo boy that’s grounded from electronics. It will not hold up the punch that a twin mattress and small framed child riding down the stairs like a surf board in Hawaii before a storm.

These are important to keep the gate from sliding and pulling out when kids hang on it. I used a mixture of the extended Nannies and the small Nannie to create a perfect fit for my gate.

The wall nanny extenders filled the gap and made the baby gate very secure without damaging my woodwork.

You need a lot more than two hands to make this fit; and it is even harder if you have baseboards or mouldings or anything like that that makes the doorway a different width at the bottom than at the top. That said, it is pretty sturdy and stable once you finally get it installed, and it is a great idea for solving the problem of protecting your walls... if you dont tear them up trying to get the darned thing installed.

Worked good, looks good, solid, install is easy. Gate is sturdy.

PERFECT product, just what we were looking for! Our gate was already an extended version but the walkway between the front and the back of the house was just a little bigger. We got by with an old plank of wood which unfortunately would stick and take the paint off our walls (as seen in the picture) to make it try and fit the space. The dogs would run into it or try to climb over the fence and it would slip and fall down and damage our walls. Cue these amazing little things! We were able to not only get rid of the mismatched plank of wood, but the gate is seriously sturdier than ever before and we don’t have to extend the screws out nearly as far. Didn’t even have to screw these extenders into the wall, they are wide enough that they distribute the pressure better than the wall damaging feet, and the rubber backs really are sticking well. Even took down the gate and no paint went with it, so I’m excited to actually touch up the wall now since it’ll stay. Great idea

The wall nanny extender has been a great help with our baby gate. It was easy to install and helps to keep our walls from getting torn up. We would buy again if needed
