Zoo Med Labs Aviansun Deluxe Floor Lamp with Aviansun,Silver,3.4 x 11.5 x 22.5"

As soon as I plugged in my brand new lamp with its bulb, it shorted out. Now I have to return it (and I pay the shipping!) for a refund. :/ it may have been a fluke, but having to pay for my own refund irks me. I’m going to get my refund and buy a different lamp. Also, the lamp itself was wobbly, though it stood up on its own without falling.

I can’t review this item for its warmth, value for money, etc.... except I can’t since it died the minute we plugged it in. Very dissatisfied and very disappointing.

So far, this lamp seems to work well! My birds are in an aviary so I was hoping to be able to use the bulb in the fixture in the ceiling. You cant though. I should have researched that a little better but I have kept the light anyway. Its portable this way and the birds seem to like it.

The cage was in a dark area of the room. Now i dont have to worry about my bird getting enough uva lighting. Was easy to assemble and sturdy.

This was easy to put together and worked well for about 5 days. After that, it wouldn’t turn on. My bird, Francis, loved it while it lasted, was more vocal when it was on and enjoyed preening himself and chirping. Wish it had lasted. Returning it now. Disappointed.

My goffins cockatoo has been plucking for over a month. I thought Id give this a try instead of a stressful collar OMG!!! I set it up yesterday and Immediately she stopped plucking and started snoozing. Shes more relaxed, eating better and just happy. She seems content Well worth every cent Great buy!!! Thanks!!!!

Very happy with this light.

After a year of on and off use , i came in the room after 4 hours then other day and smelled a burning smell sure enough it was the bulb , it was very hot and burning, it didnt smoke yet but it was in its way, the room smelt like a burning bulb the rest if the day, i hope no damage was done to my birds from them breathing in that stink 12 inches from them, if your not supervising this i wouldnt use it ever again had to throw away the lamp and bulb because it smelled even more when it cooled down,

Birds need a bit of sun, and the winter cold prohibits us from taking them outside.
