Very satisfied with the feel of this controller. You can tell it is well made. Probably one of my favorite controllers, would recommend to anyone looking for an old school look with modern features.

I originally bought this product to be used with my phone so I can play emulated games now I use that on my switch and when my joycons are recharging it is a great simple alternative

Lo compre por que requería un control pro sin adquirir uno de Nintendo, su sincronización es fácil, no tiene lag y sobre todo se maneja super bien 100% recomendado

I would give 8bitdo a 10 for style on the Sn30 Pro. It is a fun throwback with a great aesthetic that combines both old and new in one seamless package. And, it provides both old and new functionality very well also. It comes with just one star-nixxing caveat. The D-Pad is nearly unusable with any precision without some major tweaks. The soft, friendly direction input reads diagonals everywhere. Fortunately I purchased this exclusively for PC gameplay and you can mitigate this in Steam on PC by customizing the D-Pad settings, but elsewhere I can see this being a persistent nag. Which is truly unfortunate. This controller is a thing of beauty in every other regard. This controller is light, but has proven durable. It is comfortable to hold. The twin-sticks are responsive. The buttons clicky. The battery life is excellent. It is plug-and-play on PC. I really like this controller. I like this controller enough to give it four stars despite having a nearly unusable d-pad. If you are using a PC and willing to tweak some things, I recommend this controller. Otherwise simply buy the Pro+ variant (the one with handles). That one gets everything right.

Size is good, comfortable grip, distance between buttons is good. Could use extra grip around the edge.

Product feels really high quality and the sticks are tight and feel better than my Switch ProCon. Feels great on the switch’s NES, SNES, and most 2D platforms, but I do think it’s annoying how easy it is to input a diagonal directional input when I don’t want to. It helps to play with the tips of my thumb rather by then joint of my thumb, but sometimes that feels unnatural. This has only happened once, but I recently experienced input delay while playing on the NSO’s SNES games. I fixed it by resyncing, but I’ve never had that problem with my procontrollers. Still pretty satisfied with it, but I hope they fix some of the issues I named in any future SNES type controllers! I still love this controller and sometimes catch myself trying to find any excuse to use it because it feels so nice.

BUY THIS ONE THE GAMEBOY VERSION IS THE SAME AS THE OTHER SNES AND SUPER FAMICON JUST RED BUTTONS AND $35 INSTEAD OF $45 I already the regular 8bitdo controller without the joysticks and also have the official switch pro controller. decided to get this one so I cause I like the snes classic feel which for Nintendo online games but it’s is so much easier and better to take this with and the switch screen only instead of taking the entire switch and switch pro controller too bulky. You’ll have to get used to the trigger shoulder buttons to play games like Fortnite or any shooter games... but classic games it’s is perfect Battery is great and they have improved on easier set up with the pair button There is one small complain that it doesn’t wake up the system so you do have to walk over to turn on. And if you are a PlayStation player the joysticks will be a perfect position

I bought two of these in different colors and was pleasantly surprised to find that the build quality seemed very nice, given that these are third-party controllers. The color schemes are pleasant and add a retro touch; the ones I got recall the colors of the North American SNES controller and the Game Boy. The shape and layout is essentially that of an SNES controller, but with analog sticks and an extra pair of shoulder buttons. Connectivity is straightforward. Four interface modes (Mac, XInput, DInput, and Nintendo Switch) are available, so whatever it is youre trying to connect to, odds are it will recognize these controllers in one of the four modes. While the instructions dont mention it, you can connect these controllers to iOS devices with a few extra steps. After registering them in Switch Control, theyll appear in the list of Bluetooth devices just like other controllers, and they work as expected in games with controller support. The buttons all feel pretty decent. The shoulder buttons are perhaps a little on the small side, but you get used to them quickly. I didnt expect the sticks to be anything special, but they feel smooth and responsive. These arent merely cheap junk with premium branding. They cost more than the average third-party controller on Amazon because they are, in fact, better. After using both of the controllers evenly for about a year (i.e., one at a time, so each one got about half a years worth of effective use), the rubber grip on one of the analog sticks developed a tear and began coming off of the stick. Ive retired the controller that developed this issue, as the damaged grip digs into my thumb if I try to use it. The other controller has yet to show any signs of the issue, for what thats worth. If youre shopping for a go-to everyday controller that will see lots of use, consider getting a backup.

If youre looking for an easy to use controller then this is the one! Its design is simple enough with a heavy dose of nostalgia. Highly recommend to anyone gaming on the go or if you just enjoy toned down simplicity like me. I pair mine with my Galaxy tab lite. Functionality works well with emulators. Gets the job done and leaves you with those reminiscent feelings from childhood. Enjoy!
