Great laptop for school and general office work. Would recommend upgrading the RAM, but it’s still okay if you don’t.

I was looking for a low-cost computer for linux use. This model was appealing because (1) it has a 1080p display, and most cheap laptops still have 768 line displays; and (2) it uses a decent Ryzen CPU, which is pretty fast and low-power compared to some Celeron CPUs you still see out there.

Great for browsing and can handle the most basic games, dosent have much space but more than enough for basic non gaming needs

I love this laptop! Its fast, the picture quality is fantastic and it has the look and feel of good quality, all in a low priced laptop! Highly recommend!

I could sit here and write all about the specs on this computer, but they are already in the description, and If you are like me... you dont really understand it anyways.

This is my first laptop, so Im probably easily impressed. Having said that I am so far quite pleased with it. I bought it mostly to begin streaming tv and cutting the cable cord. I wont be getting my internet connection until the end of the month so cant yet say how the streaming thing is going. Ive ordered a 4 GB memory module to bring RAM up to 8 gigs and I bought a mouse as I prefer that over using the touchpad. The laptop comes with a 128 gig SSD, but with the thumb drives and microSD cards that I have, I have no shortage of storage. However I probably will consider purchasing an external one to two TB drive sometime in the future. So, all in all, Id say that Im pretty satisfied with this purchase.

I dont game on my laptop and only need it for writing and general internet use. Its perfect in that capacity. I had another Acer before and the screen quality on this model is a huge improvement. I cant speak to the longevity yet, although this is a concern because my other Acer only lasted a couple years, and I am not particularly hard on my electronics. (I still use the iPod I bought in 2007 and Ive never broken a phone.) This model is also much slimmer and lighter, which I love. I wish I had this version before I graduated so I didnt have to lug my other huge one to class--especially once it ended up taped together for an entire semester and the bar exam! I also love the backlit keyboard. I use it a lot at night and it makes that a lot easier. My only two complaints are that the bottom left corner of the mousepad is a bit soft when left clicking on it and I pretty much always have to have the sound at full volume. If anything Im listening to is quiet, I often struggle to hear it. The quality of sound itself is good, though.

My son can play roblox and Minecraft on it. He’s happy, I’m happy.

This laptop is a really great choice for lite users who have a tight budget. I would upgrade the ram In the near future, but Im not in a hurry since it works fine with browsing and MS Office, which mostly all I need. I dont play heavy games and dont think this is a gaming laptop.
