Bought this for my husband but I love it as well

I was happy with the Aspire 5 when I first used it. Then the touch pad stopped working . The instructions told me to uninstall and reinstall the touch pad. But the touch pad will not show up on the device manager. So I went to Acers web side for support. I set up an order for repair and was informed that I would receive an e-mail telling me how to ship to the repair center. I waited a few days, but never received the e-mail. So I went back to Acers web page and entered my case reference number. The astounding response was that my Aspire 5 had been repaired and would be returned by Fedex. That was amazing since I was typing on the very Aspire 5 that was being shipped back to me. I So I signed on to chat and tried to explain. But HAL, the robot decided that I wanted to reinstall Windows 10 and sent me to a page where I could fetch an DVD to reinstall.

I bought this for my son to use for school and gaming. With an upgrade to the memory, hes able to do both!

Tried to save some money buying this, had it for 2 days and now it wont even boot up. very disappointed.

Wow, worth the money. I use this for school and considering all the junk we have to do online this laptop consistently runs smooth. At full charge my battery lasts all day sometimes not even needing a charge until the next day. This is my first laptop and to me its a pretty nice one. Plus this Acer doesnt have all those junk apps youll never use that waste your battery and cant be deleted like the laptops sold at Walmart.

Excellent

The boot-up time is quite fast and most applications launch immediately without load time delay. Excellent laptop overall. However, it isnt as straightforward to switch out of Windows 10S mode to Windows 10 Home. At the price you get a light but powerful laptop
