For a $317 laptop I wasn’t expecting much. This computer has nice graphics, is really fast and looks really nice. It’s actually metal not plastic. I’ve only had it a few weeks but so far so good. I won’t be doing a lot with it; maintaining a website/blog, YouTube videos, and using Microsoft office do I didn’t need anything crazy.

Got 2 of these. First had about 40% of the screen broken and unreadable. The second screen was completely broken. I could hear Cortana talking but couldnt see anything. Complete garbage. Returning and getting a new brand altogether. This was my last Acer.

No uppercase indicator. Makes it hard numbers pad too obscure

Great computer. MONEY (PRICE GREAT) LIGHTED KEY BOARD is great. Overall serves all my needs with room to spare. I also bought a wireless mouse at the same time. Both work great. Dont use the pad at all.

This is a great Laptop for Mobility. AMD enthusiast. I use it for content editing. The battery life is great! 4hrs. Unplugged, easily. Ram expansion is plug and play. SSD expansion is a little more technical but all the hardware to connect and Secure in it place are included. Just some minor rearangement. Surprised at the speaker quality also. Its very good. For the price this is a solid buy. Only downside is the aluminum cover. A soft metal.

Is fast then any other Dell I own in the past.

it was a good deal and it works fast .....

We purchased the Acer Aspire 5 Slim several months ago, waited a bit to write a review so that I could be sure of its performance. In a nutshell, its been great! Screen is vibrant and sharp. It boots up and runs very nicely thanks to the SSD. We doubled the RAM, which I would recommend right off the bat just from my experience with computers. For the ~300 price range, you cant go wrong with this product!

Its a very reasonable price for such a high quality device.
